[PATCH 0/9] Fix runtime pm ref leaks
In preparation for runtime pm on muxed dual GPU laptops, I've fixed all runtime pm ref leaks I could find in nouveau, radeon and amdgpu. To ease reviewing, I've pushed this series to GitHub: https://github.com/l1k/linux/commits/drm_runpm_fixes_v1 @Alex Deucher: I do not have an AMD GPU so couldn't test this beyond verifying that it compiles. Please double-check the patches and test

[PATCH v2 3/3] drm/nouveau: Remove bogus crtc check in pmops_runtime_idle
This both uses the legacy modesetting structures in a racy manner, and additionally also doesn't even check the right variable (enabled != the CRTC is actually turned on for atomic). This fixes issues on my P50 regarding the dedicated GPU not entering runtime suspend. Signed-off-by: Lyude Paul <lyude at redhat.com> Cc: stable at vger.kernel.org ---

[PATCH 0/5] drm/nouveau: Fix a lot of nasty RPM bugs and deadlocks
This fixes quite a number of runtime PM bugs I found that have been causing some pretty nasty issues such as: - Deadlocking on boot - Connector probing potentially not working while the GPU is in runtime suspend - i2c char dev not working while the GPU is in runtime suspend - aux char dev not working while the GPU is in runtime suspend There's definitely more parts of nouveau that need

[PATCH v5 00/13] Fix connector probing deadlocks from RPM bugs
This is the latest version of https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/46815/ I moved everything out of fb_helper and back into nouveau, because it seems that other drivers actually do have this handled already as far as I can tell. [RFC v3 00/11] drm/nouveau: Introduce CRC support for gf119+
Nvidia released some documentation on how CRC support works on their GPUs, hooray! So: this patch series implements said CRC support in nouveau, along with adding some special debugfs interfaces for some relevant igt-gpu-tools tests that we'll be sending in just a short bit. This additionally adds a feature that Ville Syrj?l? came up with: vblank works. Basically, this is just a generic DRM

[PATCH 1/4] drm/nouveau: dispnv50: Don't create MSTMs for eDP connectors
On the ThinkPad P71, we have one eDP connector exposed along with 5 DP connectors, resulting in a total of 11 TMDS encoders. Since the GPU on this system is also capable of MST, we create an additional 4 fake MST encoders for each DP port. Unfortunately, we also do this for the eDP port as well, resulting in: 1 eDP port: +1 TMDS encoder +4 DPMST encoders 5 DP ports: +2 TMDS

Nvidia released some documentation on how CRC support works on their GPUs, hooray! So: this patch series implements said CRC support in nouveau, along with adding some special debugfs interfaces for some relevant igt-gpu-tools tests (already on the ML). [PATCH 0/2] Fix connector probing deadlocks from RPM bugs
This is a trimmed down version of https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/46637/ with all of the review comments addressed. The last version of this series had fixes for the i2c and DP aux busses to ensure that the GPU would be turned on whenever anything tried to access the i2c/aux busses. Unfortunately: one of the fixes apparently contained some very incorrect usage of Linux's runtime PM

[PATCH v6 0/5] Fix connector probing deadlocks from RPM bugs
Latest version of https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/46815/ with some significant improvements: - I finally figured out a clean way to do this entirely with runtime PM helpers, no avoiding grabbing refs required! - Since this new method removes the need for a lot of the other changes I made (although we probably still want those changes, but not for fixing these deadlocks)
