nsd serving localhost
Hi, I just installed nsd 1.2.2, and found that it choked on the following zone file when parsing it as an IPv6 zone file, complaining about out-of-zone data on line 2: @ IN SOA ns.oryx.com. hostmaster.oryx.com. Patch to fix latest mesa git undefined symbol
Hello, I decided to try nouveau tonight and I followed the install instructions. 2D worked fine (a bit slower than nv/vesa), so I tried out 3D. I was able to get glxgears to work (1000 fps on my nv15) only after I patched the mesa driver. Attached is the patch to nouveau_screen.c that adds a stub to resolve the undefined symbol that all GL programs threw. I discussed it briefly with herve

slow and max connection errors
Sorry about not being specific enough. I will try and be more so in the future. Here is what I have currently: Apple X-serve running Yellowdog (a Redhat 9 port for ppc) with 1GB of RAM, 3 60GB HD not setup as RAID. They are individual partitions (/var and /, /home and /shared). The shared partition is strictly for Samba file sharing. I build in a matching user in both the system and in

Re: [brandz-discuss] Re: BrandZ, Xen and Chime for Solaris 10 U3 ?
Xen will not be in update 4. We are pushing towards integrating into Nevada sometime this summer. We''re actively working on getting another release out to OpenSolaris. I have my latest attempt at building an ISO image spinning in another window right now. This new release will be based on Nevada build 66. It''s been a ridiculously long time since our last release, and I

"upstream testing"??
[Follow-ups set to gmane.linux.centos.general] My wife had been running CentOS 6.4 almost since its inception; then her PC broke down. We got a PC from System76, and Ubuntu turned out utterly unsuitable for us, as expected -- as bad for us as Gnome3. (I had previously bought a System76 net book (starling iirc), and immediately installed the then current Fedora; all has been

460 GTX performance on SC 2
Hello, I'm trying to play SC2 with the following setup, and it's only playable with the lowest settings. I think I've already put in most of the tweaks that people typically point to. Can I get advice on how I can get reasonable fps for higher settings? Here's my setup: GTX 460 1GB Intel Q6600 2.40ghz Quadcore 3gb memory nvidia 260.19.06 wine 1.3.3 screen resolution:

SLI support for 8800 GTX?
Hi all, Can someone comment on SLI support in nouveau? I'm trying to run KMS (with Plymouth) and nouveau on dual 8800GTXs and not having much (any) luck, I think the message I get is "GPU deadlock". Problem with kernels 3.15.0-rc and GF114 [GeForce GTX 560 Ti] (rev a1)
On the slipstream box I have no problems with 3.14.0 kernel. With 3.15.0-rc kernels, in KDE some applications fail to start - e.g kmix, some like thunderbird come up but are not usable, e.g clicking to display a message text, nothing happens and sometimes screens won't switch. slipstream:~ # lspci 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF114 [GeForce GTX 560 Ti] (rev a1)
