same problem with Core 2 and upgrade did not help even iptables was
upgraded from 1.2.9 to 1.2.11). I''ve followed two nic example, but

Unhandled exception error
I am trying to run the PowerPrep GRE studying software (from www.gre.com)
under WINE. I can launch the main PPGRE.EXE program, but at one point it
needs to launch another program, and when it tries to do so, WINE
complains:
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 000d), starting debugger...
err:seh:EXC_DefaultHandling Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x446865ff
And then the program

Winetools not working on my desktop
So, I installed Wine 20050111 and Winetools 2.1 on my desktop which is
a P4 HT 3.4ghz ICH6 chipset based box. Redhat seems to function just
fine on it, and I'm running the latest stable SMP Kernel.
My problem is included in the following test. When I launch WineTools,
it starts complaining about not being able to create directories and
the such, but I'm running this as root (I can hear

[PATCH] Increasing E820MAX
We found machines with >32 E820 memory map entries, where Xen fails to
boot (but Linux does boot fine). The native Linux (both x86 and x86_86)
already has:
#define E820MAX 128 /* number of entries in E820MAP */

e2fsck 1.36-rc1 fixes fc3 resize2fs bug
hi,
just wanted to mention that using 1.36-rc1 fixes the following
bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=144771
thanks to benjamin scott for the hint, and theodore ts'o for fixing.
building a source and binary rpm with the provided spec file works
flawlessly under fc3 (just had to remove -rc1 from the archive
name and Version: in the spec file).

Problem: FC3 anaconda load kernel sata modules in wrong order
Hi,
I encounter a problem to install FC3 on one of our machine, the
machine has two SATA hard drives connected directly to motherboard which
will use the ata_piix kernel module, and two other SATA hard drives
connected through a Promise SATA card which is driven by sata_promise
kernel module.
The problem is: FC3 anaconda loads sata_promise module before ata_piix
module by default, and this

QoS success with FC3 native 2.6 ipsec
I just wanted to drop a success notice to the list. We always hear the
failures, and rarely the successes! ;-)
After switching from FC1 and freeS/WAN ipsec to the new native linux 2.6
ipsec (ie: setkey-based) my QoS code suddenly started working properly!
Previously, with FC1 and freeS/WAN, I found it impossible and rather
buggy (kernel panics!) to get QoS to make any difference at all. My

Blank Dailog Boxes FC3 - Wine RPM install
I was experimenting with Wine a while back, and have periodically built
Wine from source for experimenting. I have been careful to clean up
after myself (make uninstall) afterwards.
Last night, I did an install of Wine version 0.9.20 on a system running
Fedora Core 3 by running "# yum install wine". The install ran
smoothly, however, all wine dialog boxes (including winecfg) are
