[PATCH 2/2] nv50/xv: add support for depth 30 xv output
Ostensibly it should probably be looking at the pixmap format. However
it's always the window pixmap, so we can assume it's what we expect.

[PATCH 1/2] exa: Pre-G80 tiling support.
For now pixmaps will only be tiled if driver pixmaps are being used
and we're told to with the NOUVEAU_CREATE_PIXMAP_TILED usage hint.

NV50: xv fullscreen issues
Hi,
I've been trying out nouveau for a while now and I must say I'm impressed. Performance in KDE4 in general seems better than the nvidia blob; way to go!
There are a couple of annoyances though:
XV in fullscreen doesn't work. I'm running in composite mode, and non fullscreen video works well enough. Going fullscreen in e.g gmplayer gives me:

VNC 'fix' for 256 colour game only shows 2 colours?
I'm trying to run an old (~1995) Windows game under Wine, but it requires 256 colours and won't work any higher. I've checked out the 256 colour hacks page and the X methods don't work, because I use the FGLRX drivers and they don't support 8bpp, so I'm trying VNC.
I've installed vnc-server and vnc so I can play it through a 256 colour VNC connection, but so far I can

[PATCH 01/11] drm/fb-helper: do a generic fb_setcmap helper in terms of crtc .gamma_set
This makes the redundant fb helpers .load_lut, .gamma_set and .gamma_get
totally obsolete.
I think the gamma_store can end up invalid on error. But the way I read
it, that can happen in drm_mode_gamma_set_ioctl as well, so why should
this pesky legacy fbdev stuff be any better?
drm_fb_helper_save_lut_atomic justs saves the gamma lut for later. However,
it saves it to the gamma_store which should

[PATCH] nvc0: Add and enable vblank support
Based on the original patch by Christoph Bumiller, but since
it depends on kernel support patched I cannot push it yet.
The changes are that I enable vblank by default, and offset
takes OFFSET_HIGH/LOW instead of something relative to notifier_bo.

[PATCH ddx] Add support for VRAM-less devices to the ddx
With this patch the DDX almost works with GK20A, the missing piece is adding COHERENT mappings to the right places. ;-)
If you specify NOUVEAU_BO_APER the kernel will truncate valid_domains to the domains specified at creation time.
This means that as long as we only specify the correct domain in nouveau_allocate_surface the effect is still the same.

[PATCH v2 0/7] Add Maxwell support
I believe I've addressed all the feedback from the first time around, and
also made fixes necessary for GM20x based on testing results. I believe
now it should actually work for all GM10x and GM20x. Further, GP10x should
be very easy to add, but without someone to actually test I didn't want to
claim support for it.

[error] xf86-video-nouveau on OpenBSD
Hi,
I'm trying to compile nouveau on OpenBSD, but I always get an error message.
I have already compiled libdrm like this :
echo "/usr/X11R6/share/aclocal" >> /usr/local/share/aclocal/dirlist
./configure --enable-nouveau-experimental-api
make
make install
There wasn't any problem.
Then, I try to compile xf86-video-nouveau with :
./configure
make
But I get this error

[PATCH v2 00/14] improve the fb_setcmap helper
Hi!
While trying to get CLUT support for the atmel_hlcdc driver, and
specifically for the emulated fbdev interface, I received some
push-back that my feeble in-driver attempts should be solved
by the core. This is my attempt to do it right.
I have obviously not tested all of this with more than a compile,
but patches 1 and 3 are enough to make the atmel-hlcdc driver
do what I need (when patched

[PATCH] exa: add GM10x acceleration support
rendercheck -f a8r8g8b8 passes as much as on a GK208, and xv appears to
work. Very lightly tested.
Instead of sticking coordinates into pushbufs, the vertex shader is
modified to read them from a constbuf, indexed by vertex id. This
approach could be used for all nvc0 generations, but I didn't want to
rock the boat.

Boris and Daniel, was this approximately what you had in mind?
