Only 2.5G of RAM available then syslinux64.efi boots 32-bit linux 686-pae
Hello,
I'm booting linux-3.16-686-pae kernel (32-bit) via syslinux.efi 64-bit version.
After boot linux sees only 2.5G of RAM while system has 32G installed.
If I boot the same kernel with GRUB64 efi instead of syslinux
then amount of RAM available to linux is 32G.
Is this a bug or I'm missing something?

Thanks - I suspected it was too new.
I'm finding the monitor capabilities miss identified even if I use an older card - I'm

On over 40 Intel-based Asus products, the nvidia GPU becomes unusable
after S3 suspend/resume. The affected products include multiple
generations of nvidia GPUs and Intel SoCs. After resume, nouveau logs
many errors such as:

Questions on ActiveRecord implementation
Hi,
I got several questions on AR adapters implementation:
1. For SqlServer/Oracle, SQL queries are built by concatenation, and
there is no use of parameters. Especially for Oracle, this is very bad,
no optimization can be done. Is there a reason for that? Does anybody
plan to fix that?
2. When updating a model, _all_ columns are updated. Why not only the
diff is updated? Using blob/cblob, it

HELP: multiple select list in ror
Hi
Search doesn''t seem to be working so my apologies if this has come up
before.
I have some simple code in a view that generates a multiple select:

Appeal for active bug reports relating to TCP, UDP, routing locking in 7-STABLE
Dear all:
With 7.2 approaching, I wanted to review the set of known network bug reports
(especially panics, hangs, lock order reversals) relating to TCP, UDP,
sockets, and routing in 7-STABLE.
If you are aware of problems along these that you can confirm definitely occur
with 7-STABLE checked out no earlier than 17 March, 2009, please drop me a
private e-mail with a pointer to the thread,

GP10x failures on 4.12rc1
I have two nvidia pascal cards on my machine, a GP107M (GeForce GTK 1050
Mobile) and a GP104 (GTX 1080 connected via thunderbolt).
With 4.12 RC1 (which I understand to include signed firmware from nVidia)
neither of these cards work. Here is the output from demsg when I modprobe

Networking issues in host
I've been having intermittent network issues on my Host - they go away when
I stop and disable libvirtd and then reboot. They do not go away if I just
stop libvirtd and don't reboot.
I'm at a loss as to where to start with my troubleshooting, and being a
relative n00b to libvirt, I'd love any pointers.

code for sum function
Dear Tomas,
Where do I find these files? Do they contain the code for the sum function?
What do you mean exactly with your point on long doubles? Where can I find
documentation on this?
Cheers, Rampal

rendering mathematical equations
Any recommendations on how I can get mathematical equations into my
resulting html? (Besides using x^2^ type markup.)
I figure I could parse out equation text from my main text before
RedCloth ever sees it... and then maybe create png''s somehow from it,
putting the links to them back into the main text before handing it
over to RC. But I don''t know of a util that will generate

CR issue
Hi,
I am using RedCloth (3.0.4).
First using online text2html (http://www.textism.com/tools/textile/) ,
"123

returns <p>123<br />456</p>
But by code:
<code>
require ''RedCloth''
puts RedCloth.new("123\n456").to_html
</code>
I got:
<p>123

CR is not taken in consideration. Is there any parameter I am
