multiple cards and monitors with xrandr and opengl
Hi,
Thanks for your advice..! I have a few follow-up questions (tagged
below Q1, Q2 and Q3). Any help highly/extremely appreciated.
Regarding to "reverse prime", etc. I have read the following page:
https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Optimus/
So, if we want a single "macro" xscreen that spans two cards, for example:
Card 0, connected to monitor 0
Card 1, connected to

Fwd: New Ogg Dirac mapping draft
We've been discussing this on irc. Short summary, followed by some responses.
I think we've verified now that my old proposal works fine for MPEG-2
style reordered streams. I believe it can be made to work with 'open
gop' streams by making the granulepos assignment more sophisticated
than I described. However, Dirac allows essentially random reference
structures, so it's

Issues with ownership and group
I'm using rsync to backup files from host A to host B.
host A is running Solaris 2.6 with rsync 2.3.1
host B is running Solaris 7 with rsync 2.5.5
host A runs as root and syncs to host B through OpenSSH 3.4p1 to a non-root user on host B.
If I bring a file back from host B to host A, I find that the original owner has been changed from whatever it was on host A to the non-root user on host

multiple cards and monitors with xrandr and opengl
Dear Devs,
We have achieved a desktop of up to six monitors, with openGL running
succesfully on the desktop, with the following setup/features:
* Ubuntu 16+
* Xrandr
* Noveau driver
* Two gtx750 graphic cards
Each (identical) graphic card has 2xHDMI + 2xDVI connectors, which we
connect to the monitor array.
So far it works with six monitors, but we'd like to achieve eight.
However,

Hey Attila,
I CC'd the nouveau mailing list. Although if you want help, you should

OpenGL context switching with Noveau
Context switching = very slow on NVIDIA. Don't do it if you can avoid
it. Each context is like a megabyte of data, if not more. Each time it
has to get saved off and restored.

Noveau Driver NVIDIA wake from standby display activation issues
Hi,
Turning off a connected TV, and then turning it on causes issues with re-negotiating a connection to the display.
The error message was pasted into an open document that was actively under edit with the program nano. I assume messages are sent from somewhere destined for stdout; or something has redirected it. Either way, I think this may cause issues with bug reports. It looks like a dmesg

Confusion over syntax in a package
Hello,
I am new to R and I am attempting to use the ProbForecastGOP package
for some research I am conducting.
The package works fine when I call the functions from the command line
as the examples instruct.
However, I am attempting to step through some of the functions so that
I can obtain a better idea of what is going on. I have come to the
following command:
