[PATCH v2 1/9] acpi: Rename v1 DSM to mux to avoid ambiguity
This is especially true when variables or functions are just called dsm without
specifying the v1.

[PATCH] gpu/nouveau/nouveau_acpi.c: Fix Type Mismatch ACPI warning
Hello Marcos,
I sent a serie a year ago to fix some of the ACPI handling in Nouveau and add
runtime pm support for laptops with an Apple GMUX (see [0], and especially [1]
and [2]). I was told that a more generic work for the runtime pm was in the
work, so I let the whole serie slip away. I was thinking of resubmitting the
serie without the runtime pm additions, to at least fix those warning/error

[PATCH RFC] nouveau: Add support for Gmux _DSM method
This patch certainly needs some more work, but I'd like to get some comments.
Not sure if it is really related to the gmux or if it is a different Optimus
_DSM version.
I tested it on my laptop (MCP79/7A + G96) and the G96 successfully goes to
sleep, however it is still marked as PWR in vga_switcheroo, despite
`vga_switcheroo_set_dynamic_switch(pdev, VGA_SWITCHEROO_OFF)` being called.

[PATCH v2 0/4] nouveau RPM fixes for Optimus
Hi,
Here are two patches to fix an issue reported on kernel bugzilla (infinite loop
due to unchecked function) and a more important fix to fix hanging Optimus
machines when runtime PM is enabled (with pm/pci patches).
See the first version[1] for a background on the fixed problems. This is the
second revision of incorporating feedback from Emil Velikov (patch 1), Mika
Westerberg (patch 4).

[PATCH v3 0/4] nouveau RPM fixes for Optimus (final)
Hi,
Here are two patches to fix an issue reported on kernel bugzilla (infinite loop
due to unchecked function) and a more important fix to fix hanging Optimus
machines when runtime PM is enabled (with pm/pci patches).
These are the final patches targeting v4.8. Changes compared to v2[1]:
collected R-b from Hans and Mika and fixed a minor comment style issue.
I recommend it to be merged before

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: check function before using it
Do not unconditionally invoke function 0x1B without checking for its
availability, it leads to an infinite loop on some firmware.
Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104791
Fixes: 5addcf0a5f0fad ("nouveau: add runtime PM support (v0.9)")

Hi,
I am not sure what exactly 0x1B is used for, it seems related to HDMI

[PATCH 0/4] nouveau fixes for RPM/Optimus-related hangs
Hi,
Here are two patches to fix an issue reported on kernel bugzilla (infinite loop
due to unchecked function) and a more important fix to fix hanging Optimus
machines when runtime PM is enabled (with pm/pci patches).
An older (obsolete) patch for the first issue was tested by the reporter:

(it is replaced by "check for function 0x1B

[PATCH 0/4] drm: add support for retrieving EDID via ACPI _DDC
Some notebook systems provide the EDID for the internal panel via the
_DDC method in ACPI, instead of or in addition to providing the EDID via
DDC on LVDS/eDP. Add a DRM helper to search for an ACP _DDC method under
the ACPI namespace for each VGA/3D controller, and return the first EDID
successfully retrieved via _DDC. Update the i915, nouveau, and radeon
DRM-KMS drivers to fall back to

[PATCH 0000/0059] Staging: hv: Driver cleanup
Further cleanup of the hv drivers.
1) Implement code for autoloading the vmbus drivers without using PCI or DMI
signatures. I have implemented this based on Greg's feedback on my earlier
implementation.
2) Cleanup error handling across the board and use standard Linux error codes.
3) General cleanup
