nVidia ION on Acer Revo out of signal after boot.
I think you want kernel 4.10, or cherry-pick upstream commit 7dfee6827780d4228148263545af936d0cae8930. btrfs raid1 on 16TB goes read-only after "btrfs: block rsv returned -28"
Dear Devs, I have x4 4TB HDDs formatted with: mkfs.btrfs -L bu-16TB_0 -d raid1 -m raid1 /dev/sd[cdef] /etc/fstab mounts with the options: noatime,noauto,space_cache,inode_cache All on kernel 3.8.13. Upon using rsync to copy some heavily hardlinked backups from ReiserFS, I''ve seen: The following "block rsv returned -28" is repeated 7 times until there is a call trace

BUG while writing to USB btrfs filesystem
While untar''ing an image to an sd card via a reader, I got the following bug. The system also has a btrfs root, and a whole swath of processes went into uninterruptable sleep. I was able to poke around via ssh and sysrq, and already had netconsole set up to capture the bug. Root fs is on /dev/sdi1, and /dev/sdj2 is the card reader which was the target of the untar. CPU soft lockup XEN 4.1rc
Hello, Similar to others I have freezeups on the system, it is consistent with high IO load. If the system runs (even with multiple) XenU it does not happen. But I can consistently force the situation to occur. Running 4 dd processes dumping 20GB each on a LVM/mdadm soft RAID5 volume it consistenly crashes in a DomU. Running without XEN I do not see the problem at all - (e.g. after about 3TB of

New wireless controller
I just installed an Asus PCE-n13 wireless card into one of my CentOS 5.6 systems. It uses the RaLink 2680 chip set and I was able to get the driver loaded using modprobe rt2x00pci.ko. I saw no error and now see that the module is loaded along with mac80211 and other dependencies. Now I need to know how to create the wlan0 device. I can find nothing via Google searches on how to create that

Configure wireless USB ethernet
I have a system that does *not* have a graphical desktop installed, nor do I ever plan to. I have its wired ethernet working just peachy. Now I want to configure a USB wireless ethernet and scratching my head. Particularly since I don't use NetworkManager, everything is manually configured. That said, if I enable NM, I see this in /var/log/messages: NetworkManager[26900]: <info>

[RFC PATCH v2 0/7] stabilize kepler reclocking
Hello, following up on myself, it was suggested on IRC that I better attach a dmesg output. Here's the output of a clean boot & echo 0f > /sys/.../pstate cycle. I can't spot a message that relates to the reclock action, and there's only one weird "nouveau 0000:04:00.0: clk: base: 7 MHz, boost: 7 MHz" message. On the other hand: # cat
