[RFC v5 10/10] drm/nouveau/kms/nvd9-: Add CRC support
This introduces support for CRC readback on gf119+, using the documentation generously provided to us by Nvidia: https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-doc/blob/master/Display-CRC/display-crc.txt We expose all available CRC sources. SF, SOR, PIOR, and DAC are exposed through a single set of "outp" sources: outp-active/auto for a CRC of the scanout region, outp-complete for a CRC of both

[RFC PATCH v2 0/5] More explicit pushbuf error handling
Hi there, Resending these now that they've had some more polish and testing, and I heard that Ben's vacation is over :-) These patches work as a starting point for more explicit error mechanisms and better robustness. At the moment, when a job hangs or faults, it seems that nouveau doesn't quite know how to handle the situation and often results in a hang. Some of these situations

[PATCH v2] nouveau/hmm: map pages after migration
When memory is migrated to the GPU, it is likely to be accessed by GPU code soon afterwards. Instead of waiting for a GPU fault, map the migrated memory into the GPU page tables with the same access permissions as the source CPU page table entries. This preserves copy on write semantics. [PATCH] drm/nouveau: fix bogus GPL-2 license header
The bulk SPDX addition made all these files into GPL-2.0 licensed files. However the remainder of the project is MIT-licensed, these files (primarily header files) were simply missing the boiler plate and got caught up in the global update. Fixes: b24413180f5 (License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no license) Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu>

[PATCH] drm: nouveau: use larger buffer in nvif_vmm_map
gcc points out a buffer that is clearly too small to be used in a meaningful way, as the 'sizeof(*args) + argc > sizeof(stack)' will always fail: In function 'memcpy', inlined from 'nvif_vmm_map' at drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvif/vmm.c:55:2: include/linux/string.h:353:9: error: '__builtin_memcpy' offset 40 is out of the bounds [0, 16] of object 'stack'
