[PATCH 3/3] drm/nouveau: remove unused function
We get 1 warning when building kernel with W=1: drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvkm/engine/disp/sorg94.c:49:1: warning: no previous prototype for 'g94_sor_output_new' [-Wmissing-prototypes] In fact, this function is called by no one and not exported, so this patch removes it. [PATCH] kms/nv50: reject interlaced modes if the hardware doesn't support it
I ran into this issue on a gm204 GPU with a display reporting interlaced modes. Nvidia dropped those modelines for DP, but not HDMI. We should do the same on hardware where interlaced modes aren't supported via DP. [PATCH] drm/nouveau: Don't forget to label dp_aux devices
This makes debugging with DP tracing a lot harder to interpret, so name each i2c based off the name of the encoder that it's for Signed-off-by: Lyude Paul <lyude at redhat.com> --- drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv04/disp.c | 2 +- drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv50/disp.c | 2 +- drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau_connector.c | 12 ++++++++++--

[PATCH] drm/nv50/disp: ignore encoder initialization failures
Nouveau does not support all encoder types, so failure to handle one should not stop module initialization. And because of other bug, it lead to oops in nv50_crtc_destroy (nv50_display_destroy sets nouveau_display->priv to NULL, which is used by nv50_crtc_destroy). Fixes regression from eb6313add6dddf07ea3e50c4caa33a9c3b2379f1 ("drm/nv50: initial kms support for off-chip TMDS/DP

[PATCH 1/4] drm/nouveau/kms/nv50-: Probe SOR caps for DP interlacing support
Right now, we make the mistake of allowing interlacing on all connectors. Nvidia hardware does not always support interlacing with DP though, so we need to make sure that we don't allow interlaced modes to be set in such situations as otherwise we'll end up accidentally hanging the display HW. This fixes some hangs with Turing, which would be caused by attempting to set an interlaced mode

[PATCH] disp: Silence DCB warnings.
Most of these errors seem to be WFD related. Official documentation says dcb type 8 is reserved. It's probably used for WFD. Silence the warning in either case. Connector type 70 is stated to be a virtual connector for WiFi display. Since we know this, don't warn that we don't. Panic in 1.1.6 file ioloop.c: line 206
Hi all, I just had a panic with dovecot 1.1.6, two days after replacing 1.0.15 with it in production. Here are the logs immediately preceding the panic, I think they're related. It seems the user connected simultaneously from two different clients, from his own computer and a webmail running on the server, then manipulated mail folders on one side, and logged out. The panic occurred 3

[PATCH 2/2] drm/nouveau/kms: Add INHERIT ioctl to nvkm/nvif for reading IOR state
Now that we're supporting things like Ada and the GSP, there's situations where we really need to actually know the display state that we're starting with when loading the driver in order to prevent breaking GSP expectations. The first step in doing this is making it so that we can read the current state of IORs from nvkm in DRM, so that we can fill in said into into the atomic state.

[PATCH 5/6] kms/nv50: detect HDMI max MHz correctly
This removes user control to force a hdmimhz. Given the vast variety of hardware and display configurations out there, I don't see how a patch like this won't blow up in our faces. I'm not saying we shouldn't do it -- we should attempt to respect the various maximums in the vbios, but until we get a solid handle on things, we should allow more user-configurability, not less, for

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: Fix regression by audio component transition
Since the commit 742db30c4ee6 ("drm/nouveau: Add HD-audio component notifier support"), the nouveau driver notifies and pokes the HD-audio HPD and ELD via audio component, but this seems broken. The culprit is the naive assumption that crtc->index corresponds to the HDA pin. Actually this rather corresponds to the MST dev_id (alias "pipe" in the audio component framework)

[PATCH 2/4] drm/dp_mst: Pass entire connector to drm_dp_mst_topology_mgr_init()
There's no actual reason we pass the connector ID instead of a pointer to the connector itself, and we're going to need the entire connector (but only temporarily) in order to name MST debugfs folders properly since connector IDs can't be looked up until the driver has been registered with userspace which happens after debugfs init. So, just pass the entire drm_connector struct

[PATCH RESEND] drm/nouveau: Add HD-audio component notifier support
This patch adds the support for the notification of HD-audio hotplug via the already existing drm_audio_component framework. This allows us more reliable hotplug notification and ELD transfer without accessing HD-audio bus; it's more efficient, and more importantly, it works without waking up the runtime PM. The implementation is rather simplistic: nouveau driver provides the get_eld ops for
