gp104: regression on Linux 5.6
gp104 refuses to switch to "graphic" mode and show anything past
this line:
fb0: switching to nouveaufb from EFI VGA
Machine is fine, as it I can press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and reboot it
normally.
5.5 is OK. 5.6 is broken.
Bisecting is kinda painful with miscompilation and init/main.c breakage.
BTW do I need all those megabytes of firmware?

[PATCH 0/8] Secure Boot refactoring
Hi everyone,
Apologies for the big patchset. This is a rework of the secure boot code that
moves the building of the blob into its own set of source files (and own hooks),
making the code more flexible and (hopefully) easier to understand as well.
This rework is needed to support more signed firmware for existing and new
chips. Since the firmwares in question are not available yet I cannot send

[PATCH v3 10/11] secboot/gm200: add secure-boot support
Add secure-boot for the dGPU set of GM20X chips, using the PMU as the
high-secure falcon.
This work is based on Deepak Goyal's initial port of Secure Boot to
Nouveau.

[PATCH v3 00/11] nouveau: add secure boot support for dGPU and Tegra
New version of the secure boot code that works with the blobs just merged into
linux-firmware. Since the required Mesa patches are also merged, this set is
the last piece of the puzzle to get out-of-the-box accelerated Maxwell 2.
The basic code remains the same, with a few improvements with respect to how
secure falcons are started. Hopefully the patchset is better split too.

[PATCH 1/2] nouveau: arm: Add MODULE_FIRMWARE for gk20a
This patch is needed by initramfs tools to detect
the required firmware files for the module.
This patch tests for NOUVEAU_PLATFORM_DRIVER and either
TEGRA_124_SOC or TEGRA_132_SOC for the firmwares related to
the Tegra K1 generation.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/therm/gp100: Do not report temperature when subdev is shadowed
Not sure if i understand completely what you intend to say here, with
this we prevent hwmon from reporting utterly wrong temperature values
returning an error (we could return -EBUSY or somehting instead,
granted), yet if the device is shadowed, getting a sane temp value out
of is seems unlikely to me!

Tobias

[PATCH 00/15] Support for GP10B chipset
GP10B is the chip used in Tegra X2 SoCs. This patchset adds support for
its base engines after reworking secboot a bit to accomodate its calling
convention better.
This patchset has been tested rendering simple off-screen buffers using Mesa
and yielded the expected result.

[PATCH v2] nouveau: arm: Add MODULE_FIRMWARE for gk20a
This patch is needed by initramfs tools to detect
the required firmware files for the module.
This patch tests for either TEGRA_124_SOC or TEGRA_132_SOC
for the firmwares related to the Tegra K1 generation.
v2: move the MODULE_FIRMWARE to the nvidia_platform.c file.
This will avoid to test for NOUVEAU_PLATFORM_DRIVER

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/therm/gp100: Do not report temperature when subdev is shadowed
no, we can't do that. We actually have to prevent this from hwom. The
issue here is, that the reg read returns 0xffffffff and parsing that
is the first step in the first place.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/therm/gp100: Do not report temperature when subdev is shadowed
well I just tried to say, that you are not fixing the issue you think
were fixing. In your case the GPU is powered off and you get garbage
values from any mmio read, so parsing those values is just wrong and
we need to prevent doing anything on the hw whenever it is powered off
directly in hwmon.

[PATCH] pci/gp100: Enable changing pcie link speeds
this code is pretty usefull for now as nothing triggers it, but the link
speed can be changed with a
"gk104_pcie_set_link(pci, NVKM_PCIE_SPEED_8_0, 16);"
as the last call inside gk104_pcie_init.
In the future this should be helpful when using reverse prime with high
resolutions on Pascal GPUs.
I still need to verify this with a mmiotrace and do more testing, but
everybody suffering
