Coordinate systems on on nv10-era cards
Hello, I'm trying to debug why fbo-copyteximage-simple is failing, and I'm... failing. It's an extremely simple test. I'm pretty sure that the copyteximage part of it has nothing to do with the failure, at least it behaves identically when I just return tex instead of copiex_tex. Without any modifications, the test just renders one big red square. I think there's something

[PATCH 4 of 13] DisplayState interface change
Import "DisplayState interface change" from qemu mainstream: the patch has been adapted to qemu-xen and merged with several following fixes. more one question regarding gl and nouveau
Hi, for example, if I have glVertex3f(0.75, 0.75, 1.0) how the video card processes these three floats? Does the card work with floats? Does (mesa? gallium? driver?) process these three input floats before it is sent to the card? Where is the code for it? If you say the floats are memory mapped as in exec->vtx.buffer_map = (GLfloat *)ctx->Driver.MapBufferRange(...) I would say from what I

more one question regarding gl and nouveau
Hi Ilia, you were straight to the point for me in: "src/mesa/vbo will upload it to a vbo. The driver then points the hardware at the vbo and tells it to read from there." But where is it the function that implements this? Is it in nv30_draw_vbo(...)? Please, give me a function name or at least a file name? 2016-04-19 10:04 GMT-04:00 Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu>: >

Extra rows of 'NAs' in imported dataset
Hello all: I'm hoping you can help me determine the source of this problem. I've just used read.csv to bring a small (581 rows, 9 vars) dataset into R (2.7.0., Mac OS 10.5.5). The dataset was created in Excel 2008 from a datadump from an Oracle database. I've done this many times before and had no problems. The dataset ("a") appears to have extra rows filled with NAs. For

Minor fix to multi-head changes for mixed resolutions
Hey, David, for me the recent multihead changes had minor a problem with mixed resolutions (1600x1200 & 1280x1024). The viewport was getting set partially off screen. The following tweak fixed it for me: --- plugins/display.c +++ plugins/display.c @@ -2069,7 +2069,7 @@ eventLoop (void) { if (s->nOutputDev > 1)

Does this list supports the NetWare version (rsync.nlm)? if not does anyone know of a list that does? I'm having all sorts of issues with this ported version on my NetWare 6.5 server. Thanks Jon L. Bigscreen multihead issues [URGENT]
At the moment, Compiz draws each head at a time, shifting the glViewport() for every head in a xinerama-like setup. However, the projection matrix is NOT adjusted. This means any translation along the z-axis will cause problems and any rotation along the x/y axis, because the projection matrix is centered around the viewport, not the actual X screen as it has to be to keep the scenery together. nv50 microcode/shader format
Hello there, With the use of CUDA and ptx I managed to make a disassembler for at least one of the nv50 microcode/shader formats. This might come in handy for some people, hence I'm posting it here: http://www.cs.rug.nl/~wladimir/decuda/ I'm not yet sure if pixel/vertex shaders use the same instruction format as the compute shaders used by CUDA, but you'd think so, as nv50 is

Windows XP Pro cannot access Samba
My WXPP PC cannot login to the Samba server although the Win2K and W9x PC's can. The XPP system has joined the domain, but when I rebooted the PC and tried logging in via the domain it complained about not having permission or an account which I've verified and have redone several times, but still I cannot login. Anyone have any information on how to fix this. --

nouveau X nvidia
Hi, just a question. If I had two systems, one with nouveau and the other with nvidia. And then I valgrind glxgears, for example. Would valgrind's output: 1- be the same in both systems? 2- be as much close as possible in both systems (the differences being due to implementations in the proprietary driver which are not implemented in nouveau) ? 3- or would it be entirely different in both
