Thanks to help from this forum I finally got Office 97 to install (almost) correctly on wine. Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc all load and seem to function. However, the help feature doesn't work in any of the above. The .hlp files are loaded into drive_c>Program Files>Microsoft Office>Office. In Word when I click on "Help>Contents and Index, I get a list of topic, but when

I can run my programs with no problems but the help files do not display. Is there some trick? I am running RH 7.2 with wine installed using the rpm that came with it. Thanks.

I just started using wine again after a long hiatus. I only run one application under wine, xmlspy. I'd like to get its help system working under wine. If I select anything from the help menu nothing happens right now. Is it supported?

Hi, In a completely clean account that's never run Wine before I run wine --version. Wine installs a new .wine directory but this Wine directory has no config file. I looked in the 3 obvious files but none of them seem to have an option for changing between OSS, Alsa and JAck. where do I make this setting change now? Thanks, Mark
