OpenJDK vulnerability and best way to find status of package that remediates vulnerability for CentOS
I have a docker image based off centos:7 with java-11-openjdk-devel.
It appears that the current java-11-openjdk-devel available in the CentOS 7 Yum repo is 1:11.0.7.10-4.el7_8
11.0.7 is reported to have some high vulnerabilities RHSA-2020:2969 that are fixed in 11.0.8, but 11.0.8 is not available for CentOS 7.
1. Is there a 11.0.8 update for java-11-openjdk-devel available for CentOS 7?

Driver for Ultra UPS BNT-1000AP
Hi I purchased an Ultra 1000VA UPS
(http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=35&pPath=154&productID=154)
I am trying to use nut with it (I am using gentoo
linux) but can't find the proper driver. The numbers
on the back suggest it might be similar to Black
Knight Pro BNT-1000AP from Powercom
(http://www.powercom-usa.com/ProductDetail.asp?ID=8974).
So I tried the powercom

8800 Ultra support?
After playing around with the dlls/wined3d/directx.c file to update the driver version numbers used for nvidia drivers i noticed that 8800 ultra was missing and likely being recognized as the much weaker 8800, I didn't know where to go for this so I'm posting it here, if you could add these two lines it should cover the 8800 Ultra since its essentially the GTX with slightly faster clock

4k tv and UEFI Ultra Fast Boot
I have monitor connected by DVI and a 4K tv connected by HDMI.
I have a Gigabyte GeForce 1050 OC 2G video card.
The firmware takes 15 seconds to load (systemd-analyze) so I tried the
Ultra Fast Boot (UEFI) option in the BIOS.
With Ultra Fast Boot the firmware loads in less than 5 seconds.
All seems to work with just the DVI monitor plugged in.
When I try to boot with the 4K tv attached, the

CentOS 4.2beta on Sun Ultra 5 (sparc64)
I just wanted to bring some attention to the experimental build of
CentOS that Pasi put together for sparc64 architecture. I installed it
for the first time last night on a Sun Ultra 5 (333MHz, 256MB RAM,
upgraded to 40GB hard disk).
I installed it over a serial console as this is a headless system.
Install went flawlessly. After the install was done and it booted up, I
ssh'd in as root,

Support for ultra-high sample rates?
Browsing the sources, it looks to me that libFLAC decoder already
supports sample rates as 20-bit numbers in the STREAMINFO metadata
block so up to 1,048,575 Hz if a trick is done by having in
FRAME_HEADER of each frame the sample rate as "0000 : get from
STREAMINFO metadata block". If explicitly given in the frame header,
the maximum sample rate is 655350 Hz.
However, the libFLAC

ultra-preliminary C++ wrapper for ogg & vorbis
Hi.
I'm working on a very simple C++ wrapper for parts of libogg and
libvorbis; I thought I would expose it for initial comments and the
generally curious.
No conveniences, no frills. No helpful higher-level abstractions. Just
a translation from ogg_method_foo(ogg_method* data) to classes that hold
the ogg_stream_state etc., so you may type mypage.bos() instead of
