can't compile ices 2 on ppc
I've tried everything I know how (and a lot I don't) to get
ices to compile on this beige G3 ppc box. I've got the latest
cvs of libshout and ices.
Gentoo linux ppc 1.2-r1, from stage3 tarball.
gcc 2.95.3
I've made sure that libshout points to libshout.so.2.0.2.
Don't know what else to try.
I've got the box here, and I've port-forwarded through
my firewall to

1.6.beta5 (format 0x40 (slin))
(alternative title - what did I do wrong? or suggestions to make this
work)
Thought I'd try 1.6 beta5 (and 1.4.18 didn't want to compile vpb
/usr/lib/gcc/i386-redhat-linux/4.1.2/../../../../include/c++/4.1.2/i386-redhat-linux/bits/gthr-default.h:48:
error: ? does not name a type )
1.6 did compile and almost works.
'cept it thinks the .gsm files are not played.

ooh323c h323_convertAsteriskCapToH323Cap Don't know how to deal with mode 0x40 (slin)
Hello,
I have the following setup:
(*)<--->IP<--->Micronet 5012 H.323 box <---> POTS <---> PBX (Alcatel OmniPCX)
Grand idea is to use the micronet's POTS interfaces to connect SIP
phones to the PBX and to the PSTN. I think i even managed my way in
the arcane and cryptic management interface of that appliance, but I
am stuck against theese messages:

local APIC error 0x40
Running FreeBSD 8.3 -- and updating sources on a daily base and building everything -- I found a new APIC/ACPI problem introduced in the past week.
I have a Toshiba Satellite U205 with an Intel Core Duo (not a Core 2). It used to work fine with both cores but then sometime in on the road to BSD 8.0 the machine began hanging. So I added to /boot/loader.conf
hint.apic.0.disabled="1"

[GE users] Apple Leopard has dtrace -- anyone used the SGE probes/scripts yet?
Hi,
Chris (cc) and I try to get the SGE master monitor work with Apple Leopard
dtrace. Unfortunately we are stuck with the error msg below.
Anyone having an idea what could be the cause? What I can rule out as
cause is function inlining for the reasons explained below.
Background information on SGE master monitor implementation is under
