Hello, I have a server with an NT4-style domain an Samba 4.2.14+dfsg-0+deb8u5. The samba uses an LDAP backend and all is fine so far. Samba users start at uid 1005 (it's not good I know but it's historical) Domain Users Group has UID 513. Now my Problem: The winbind log is full of [2017/04/07 16:35:50.896450, 1] ../source3/winbindd/idmap.c:230(idmap_init_domain) idmap range not

Lattice dotplot with symbols sized and colored
Apologies if this is a naive beginners question. I am trying to create a dotplot with the lattice dotplot function in which my dots are colored differently depending on if positive or negative and sized by sp.nc.bdrs.data$mwZ I have tried... dotplot(sporder ~ cvarorder | direct, data=sp.nc.bdrs.data, cex=abs(sp.nc.bdrs.data$mwZ * 0.05), xlab="climate variables",

SAMBA4 - Trusted relationship lost every Weeks
Hi All, Answering to myself, this problem still occurs again and again, every week as I mentioned before. Rejoining the domain each time for samba4 file server is the only workaround. What could be the origin of this kind of problem? Any answer would be helpfull Regards Le 17/07/2017 à 10:12, Julien TEHERY a écrit : > Hello, > > > We recently put in place a trust relationship

I checked the changelog but don't see anything that looks like this issue, but I'm glad it seems like it's OK now. Changing performance.parallel-readdir to on causes CPU soft lockup and very high load all glusterd nodes
Hi, We're using a 3-node setup where GlusterFS is running as both a client and a server with a fuse mount-point. We tried to change the performance.parallel-readdir setting to on for a volume, but after that the load on all 3 nodes skyrocketed due to the glusterd process and we saw CPU soft lockup errors in the console. I had to completely bring down/reboot all 3 nodes and disable the
