Hi Charles, Ok. I'm testing NUT now with only pfsense running as the master and no slaves. I'm noticing a very strange behavior that totally doesn't make sense to me. So here's what I did (in chronological order): 1. Set override.battery.charge.warning to 55 and override.battery.charge.low to 50. 2. Hi, I installed apcupsd through pfsense and noticed some discrepancy with the NUT package. I'm not sure if this is a bug regarding the BATTDATE (apcupsd) and battery.date (NUT) but BATTDATE shows the correct date of 2016/05/11. Hello;I just came across NUT, testing FreeNAS/FreeBSD. I?m running at home a APC UPS connected to another computer, running apcupsd. I found out that NUT didn't talk by default to apcupsd, and there was a driver created relatively recently (apcupsd-ups), which filled in that gap. The version I found on my FreeBSD/FreeNAS system seems to imply that there is more to come to that driver (0.04)

We have about 4 servers connected to an APC UPS. The UPS only has one UPS connection. So my question is, in a power outage how do i get all my servers to safely shutdown? Do i run a USB hub? Do i write a script on the one machine connected to turn off all the other machines? I'm confused. Jamie

Hello, I received for X-mas an APC UPS system form my computer. I'm looking for how I can integrate it into the system so that the system will shut down either after the UPS power is low enough or a timed event after the power is out will automatically shutdown. Hi, We use Nexenta which has recently implemented a UPS plugin using NUT code. The one problem is that it can't look at APCUPSD servers for APC information.
