password protected ssl key seems unsupported after update to 2.3.4.1
Hi, On a debian server after an update to dovecot to 2.3.4.1 imaps mail client stop working. I?ve applied necessary migration for ssl_dh (cf https://wiki.dovecot.org/Upgrading/2.3 <https://wiki.dovecot.org/Upgrading/2.3> ) but that was not enough. The workaround I?ve setup was to remove password protection from the ssl_key file. All tests with ssl_key_password parameter failled (direct

Samba 4 AD SmartCard Authentication Problem
Unfortunately this does not work. Example: Yes, when i give it a few Days, the client will retrieve the actual crl faster. But the auth still works. I have tried it. I revoked an cert. Installed a new win10 client and joined the domain. After login with the revoked p12 cert on a yubikey, i can see he queries the CDP and still allows the login. With certutil and a cert in DER format, i tried

Samba 4 AD SmartCard Authentication Problem
I found an old bugzilla report for this behavior: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9612 According to the statements in it, there was a patch already in version 4.16 and in heimdal 8 last year? Which option must be in the krb5.conf? I have tried kdc_pkinit_revoke and pkinit_revoke. Both have no effect. Am 19.07.2023 um 14:27 schrieb Hans Schulze via samba: > Unfortunately this

winbind can get uid and gid from sfu, but not homedir or loginshell
I have winbind v3.0.26a running on ubuntu server v7.10 (gutsy). I intend to get user & group info from MsActiveDirectory. However, when I type: getent passwd somerandomuser I get the uid and gid for the user, as recorded in the msad schema by virtue of sfu, but the homedir and loginshell that are returned are like what "winbind nss info = template" would return by default:

Booting back into CentOS-6
This, IMHO, is one of the more annoying bugs with the newer GRUB (which i assume is the bootloader you are using). Specifically the newer grub can't, won't boot from a drive other than the one grub is on. suggest you revert to grub 0.97 or, if any boot loader is or can be put on the drive with the 6.5 distro you can make that drive the boot drive in the bios, which is how i do it. i.e.
