[RFC apcsmart V3 00/18] apcsmart driver updates
Sorry for a bit longer delay than I anticipated, I was stuffed with the work. This is the next iteration of the patch adding some functionality to apcsmart driver, and relying on 'ignorelb' recently added. Follow up from previous thread: http://www.mail-archive.com/nut-upsdev at lists.alioth.debian.org/msg02331.html Main differences is that V3 is split into many small patches, so the

Patch for the bestfortress driver 0.02
I could not make the bestfortress driver 0.02 work for my Best Fortress LI675VA, so I have made a patch for the driver. The reason was, that all responses are preceded and terminated by CR LF, but the driver would discard everything after the first CR LF. The following patch discards everything up to the first LF. It also adds a debugging feature of displaying the accepted data (level 5 i.e. -D

Driver bestfcom - Timing problem with Fortress LI1420
Hi, my UPS is a Best Fortress LI1420 with the monitoring master running fedora 7. I have to replace the manufacturer's software "Checkups II" because it's not working with releases after fc4. My choice is the nut package. But it isn't just installing rpm's and configure the parameter files. ? The first hurdle to take was realising the UPS doesn't send a prompt.

gcc4 compiler warnings
Hi all! The following files emits warnings when compiled with gcc 4.0: al175.c bcmxcp_ser.c belkinunv.c cyberpower.c everups.c powercom.c solis.c All warnings seem to be of this variety: everups.c:38: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 2 of 'ser_get_char' differ in signedness I suggest that those who fiddles with those drivers fixes the warnings and verifies that it works

[RFC] Updates to ACP smart driver
This patch introduces a handful of new options, I mentioned earlier in: http://www.mail-archive.com/nut-upsdev at lists.alioth.debian.org/msg02088.html See the large commit message in the follow-up for the details and rationale. I realize it's a bit larger diff - so if it's required I can split it into few smaller ones. Michal Soltys (1): APC smart driver update and new features.

[PATCH][RFC][12+2][v3] A expanded CFQ scheduler for cgroups
This patchset expands traditional CFQ scheduler in order to support cgroups, and improves old version. Improvements are as following. * Modularizing our new CFQ scheduler. The expanded CFQ scheduler is registered/unregistered as new I/O elevator scheduler called "cfq-cgroups". By this, the traditional CFQ scheduler, which does not handle cgroups, and our new CFQ

[PATCH/RFC v2 0/3] Updates to ACP smart driver
This is 2nd version of the earlier patch featuring a few new features and fixes to the apcsmart driver, following the remarks in: http://www.mail-archive.com/nut-upsdev at lists.alioth.debian.org/msg02294.html Major changes from v1: - handle battery.charge and battery.runtime checks at main.c level - handle "immutable but writable" conflict gracefully at driver level -

Adding debugging information in serial.c
In order to improve the diagnostics for serial connected devices, I would like to add the possibility to differentiate between errors and timeouts. For the ser_get_char() and ser_get_buf_len() we might do this by changing the return value. For the first, return value -1 would be an error, 0 a timeout and 1 success. The latter could return -1 on error, between 0 and (buflen-1) for a

Patch for optiups to support Zinto D from ONLINE USV-Systeme AG
Hi Arnaud, Hi Scott, Hi list, Here is a patch to support the Zinto D from ONLINE USV-Systeme AG. I already sent a version to Russell Kroll (2006-04-09), without no response and I cannot find support for Zinto in svn until now. I found a discussion on this list about the Xanto from ONLINE, but the Zinto seems to use different commands. The commands are quite similar to those for Opti-UPS, so I

Nut-upsdev Digest, Vol 206, Issue 5
It seems the `libmodbus` library or headers were not found, or something similar - so the driver against it was not built. Did you install `libmodbus-dev` before the build? What does `config.log` in the build root say (and.or the summary shown after you run the `configure` script)?
