Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCD: powers off with /etc/killpower...then powers back on...
Hi Everyone, I recently bought a Tripp-Lite SMART1500LCD for my Linux Mint 19.3 machine, connected via a USB cable. I installed Nut 2.7.4 from the Mint package repository via sudo apt update && sudo apt install nut. Everything works great: NUT issues low battery warning when it reaches the set low battery point and then issues shutdown commands...computer shuts down..then the UPS shuts

Synology NAS is shutting down Ubuntu servers after very brief power outage (fwd)
Thanks Larry, no problem. I appreciate the input. Whenever you get a chance I’d really like to compare notes with someone who has NUT and a Synology to see why the heck mine doesn’t work! ;). I’m also using my Pi as the master like you. Thanks. Todd -- Todd Benivegna // todd at benivegna.com On Aug 14, 2020, 11:55 AM -0400, Larry Fahnoe <fahnoe at fahnoetech.com>, wrote: > On Fri, Aug

Automatically extract info from Granger causality output
Dear Community, this is my first programming in R and I am stuck with a problem. I have the following code which automatically calculates Granger causalities from a variable, say e.g. "bs" as below, to all other variables in the data frame: log.returns<-as.data.frame( lapply(daten, function(x) diff(log(ts(x))))) y1<-log.returns$bs y2<- log.returns[,!(names(log.returns) %in%

UPS is not turned off in slave-only configuration?
I have two hosts. One is the ups-server. It's generator powered and can be assumed to never go down. This is the one that all the UPSs are connected to. It has: - the UPSs configured in upsd.conf - a "upsmon master" user in upsd.users - an empty upsmon.conf The other one is server-1. Its upsmon.conf contains: MONITOR test-apc at ups-server 1 monuser blah slave Now, what I see is

Issue with slave FSD notification on Windows port of NUT
I have the latest version of the Windows port of NUT installed on my Windows?7?machine. The UPS is connected via serial cable to the Windows machine. I also have my Synology NAS (which uses NUT) connected over the local network as a slave to the Windows NUT master. The Synology slave is configured to immediately go into "safe mode" whenever an FSD or OB+LB indication is received from the

Multivariate Granger Causality Tests
Dear Community, For my masters thesis I need to perform a multivariate granger causality test. I have found a code for bivariate testing on this page (http://www.econ.uiuc.edu/~econ472/granger.R.txt), which I think would not be useful for the multivariate case. Does anybody know a code for a multivariate granger causality test. Thank you in advance. Best Regards -- View this message in context:

Modified Sims test
Does anyone know of a package that includes the Modified Sims test [Gewerke, 1983, Sims, 1972]? This test is used in econometrics and is a kind of alternative to the Granger test [Granger, 1969], which is in the package lmtest. Thanks in advance, chris Refernces: Gewerke, J., R. Meese, and W. Nut fsd command ignored: bcmxcp_usb driver, Powerware 5105 UPS
Hi I'm having a problem with the bcmxcp_usb driver FSD command: everything seems to work apart from: upsmon -c fsd Environment: Ubuntu 7.04, nut 2.0.5-1, nut-usb 2.0.5-1, Powerware 3105 UPS. upsd appears to send the FSD command to the UPS, upsmon then runs my NOTIFYCMD (which halts my PC) but the UPS just doesn't turn off. Here are the /var/log/daemon.log entries: Jul 24 23:13:16

UPS gracefull restart
Hi, I'm just looking at the code of snmp-ups driver in the source tree. I'm trying to find out, what can I change in the code to force the snmp-ups driver to send shutdown command to the upsd to shutdown the computer when I set up on the UPS via telnet that it should restart gracefully. The communication otherwise works perfectly but the gracefull restarts and turn off. Using apcsmart
