Dear Charles, thanks for your quick answer and your information! I didn't know there is a difference in the PR-series between old and new. So thanks for this valuable information! usbconfig dump_device_desc shows: ugen0.2: <CyberPower Systems product 0x0601> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=LOW (1.5Mbps) pwr=ON (50mA)

CyberPower PR2200
Hi, guys. I have a new CyberPower PR2200 which I'm trying to control using NUT. It has a serial port and I'm connected serially. I am using the cyberpower driver and before a power failure it seems to mostly be working: jeff@backup:~$ upsc cyberpower@localhost battery.charge: 000 driver.name: cyberpower driver.parameter.port: /dev/ttyS0 driver.version: 2.0.4 driver.version.internal: 1.00

writing variables
Can anyone give me insight into upsrw? I have a cyberpower PR2200 UPS (running an experimental version of the powerpanel driver hot off the presses by Arjen (thanks Arjen!!)). When I try to run "upsrw -s xyz=abc" to set any available variable, I get "Set variable failed: Access denied". What user name and password is it looking for here? My upsd.users file has 2 users

CyberPower OR2200
i own a CyberPower OR2200LCDRM2U and was wondering if any nut drivers support this ups. none i have tried have worked although usbhid-ups did tell me that the productid=0601 was not supported yet. i see in the compatability list on the nut website that the PR2200 is supported with the powerpanel driver but the OR2200 is not listed. i am interested in what i am doing wrong or if this is a support

Driver for Cyberpower PR2200
Hello... First let me start by saying how terrific NUT seems to be. I have not gotten it working properly with my own UPS yet due to a driver issue, but all of the features I could dream up are in there. I've worked hard to hack around the OEM software from CyberPower for my PR2200 UPS to get it to remotely shutdown other computers on the network which are powered from that UPS, and they

CyberPower UPS Omission
The Hardware Compatibility List page on our website said to report any omissions in the list to this address. I bought a CyberPower UPS Model *LX1500GU*. It looks similar to the *CP1500AVRLCD*. My intention is to configure it in FreeNAS (FreeBSD). The FreeNAS user guide says it uses NUT to provide UPS support an contains a link to your website for a list of drivers of supported UPS devices. CpberPower PR3000LCDRTXL2UN support
I'm looking at switching from an APC UPS to a different brand after having had my third SU3000RM in a row blow up power transistors. I'm looking at the Cyperpower PR3000LCDRTXL2U. I see the PR3000E and the PR6000LCDRTXL5U listed as supported, but not the PR3000LCDRTXL2U. Howeverit seems likely that if the PR6000LCDRTXL5U is supported, the PR3000LCDRTXL2U ought to work as well. I've

Patching CyberPower UPS drivers
Hey there, I got a new UPS (CyberPower PR1500LCDRTXL2Ua) and found the serial drivers don't quite work... So I decided to jump in and make changes to the driver that would hopefully make it happier. I have it working (I really only changed powerp-txt.c) but still have a couple questions... Charles said I should mention them here to talk to anyone interest but specifically Arjen (one of

No matching MIB found for sysOID
Hello all, Thank you in advance for a great FOSS project. Also, thank you for reading my question. I have a CyberPower OR1500LCDRTXL2U with an RMCARD205. There are a handful of devices plugged into the UPS. I received a message today saying to send upsc output to NUT developers after this message: "No matching MIB found for sysOID '.1.3.6.1.4.1.3808.1.1.1'" root at

UPS CYBERPOWER CP1300EPFCLCD MISSING FROMCOMPATIBILITY LIST
Hello Charles, Nice to make your acquaintance. J Thanks for your detailed reply. I appreciate it greatly. I want to learn. I have read and tried to get my head around the information you have provided but as a lot of it is new to me I have some questions. 1. As I am connecting the Cyberpower CP1300ePFCLCD to my Synology NAS DS216+II via USB cable. This makes the NAS a NUT

Just an interesting data point
SO, my full load on my core UPS is two Dell R610s, one Sun X4540, one HP DL360p gen8, two six-core Thuban-II workstations plua their monitors, and the network stack and KVM. The APC SU3000RM (3KVA) that blew up last week considered this to be just short of 60% load. The new Cyberpower PR3000 (also 3KVA), wqhich operates at a 90% power factor, considers this same load to be 43% load. I wasn't

Cyberpower model numbers in the HCL
Anyone familiar with Cyberpower's model numbers? I finally got sick of my Tripplite's USB port going south, all the time, so I'm looking to replace it. The HCL has an entry for a Cyberpower model CP1500AVRLCD. Not listed is the CP1500PFCLCD model, a newer, premium version of the unit; but the HCL does have an entry for the CP1000PFCLCD model. Pretty sure that the CP1500PFCLCD

UPS CYBERPOWER CP1300EPFCLCD MISSING FROMCOMPATIBILITY LIST
Hi I have just purchased a Cyberpower CP1300EPFCLCD UPS. It is not listed in your Compatibility List http://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html I am very new to all this but do have a background in IT. I have been retired for 18 years so am a bit out of touch so please excuse if I am a bit fuzzy. I will try my best to explain my issue below. When I plug my UPS into my Synology NAS

FreeBSD backed with a PR1500LCDRT2U
I need some help here with getting this thing running. Every time I enable NUT on the server, I get a "on battery" status when I know that it is running on house power. This only occurs when I am monitoring it with FreeBSD(NAS4Free) When i plug the same UPS into CentOS 6.7, It works as expected. I am not sure what the difference between the NUT versions other than the base OS would be.
