Errors when running on Windows
I'm facing a looming deadline for getting this working, so I'm hoping someone experienced can weigh in on this.
I'm getting errors in the Event Log when stopping the service:
1. Error stopping upsd (2)
2. Error stopping upsmon (2)
Is there a detailed log somewhere? How can I track this down and find out what they mean? Or does someone know?
Also, these three commands result in

NOTIFYCMD doesn't work from Windows service
Hello dear all,
I try to use NUT for windows (not WinNUT), and stuck with launching NOTIFYCMD.
On any event marked as SYSLOG+WALL+EXEC syslog entry appears, popup
window appears, but NOTIFYCMD script doesn't run.
If I run upsmon.exe in cmd (i. e. not as a service) everything works fine.
Here is my upsmon.conf:

Master privileges unavailable on UPS
Hello all,
I'm having problems with what I'm told should be a straightforward
issue.
The message in /var/log/daemon is:

NUT behaviour when master system fails
Hi all,
We have recently bought an APC UPS and are in the process of setting up
the NUT software to make use of it. We are experiencing a problem with
the behaviour of the slave systems when the master system goes off line.
Although the failure of our master system will (hopefully) be a rare
event, and we hope not to experience too many power outages, it is
possible (if unlikely) that both

I changed IP to NAS IP instead of my PC IP and also used NAS login and

"Fatal error: insufficient power configured!" (same as before)
I got this log:

This was only the log from the program. I'm sending my upsmon.conf attached
(I removed nas ip number, admin login and pass (no spaces in parameters)
and also changed back minsupplies to 1), the rest of the settings are the
same as I used.
Best,
Tom

MGE Ellipse 500 USB power failure problem
Hello,
I have an MGE Ellipse 500 UPS for about 8 years, connected to a local
OpenBSD server through usb, running nut-2.2.1. I used to occasionally drain
the UPS battery to see if the local server was shutting down cleanly my desktop PC
and it was working OK.
Suddenly, there was a power failure last week, the UPS was serving the two
PCs (the server and the client) for 30 secs and then it went

"UPS myups@localhost is unavailable" from upsmon
Greetings,
I imagine this question must have been answered previously on the
list, but I can't search for the answer because the archives are gone.
Executive summary: I am trying to install and configure nut 2.0.1 on
Fedora Core. I have a SmartUPS Pro plugged into a USB port. Upsmon
is logging "UPS myups@localhost is unavailable" to syslog and via wall
when it starts up and
