Comparing two groups of proportions
Hi, I have a seemingly common problem but I can't find a proper way to approach it. Let's say we have 5 samples (different size) of IC circuits coming from 5 production lines (A, B, C, D, E). We apply two different non-destructive QA procedures to each sample, producing to sets of binary outcomes (passed: no/yes). So, we have two groups of proportions: QA1 QA2 no/yes no/yes A

Problems building R 2.2.1 with libgoto and SSE2 enabled
Hi, I am trying to build R 2.2.1 with Kazushige Goto's BLAS library (libgoto) and encountered a problem: I have two computers with the almost identical hardware (P4 Northwood CPU, i875 chipset, 2GB DDR400 RAM) and identical Linux OS. I have the latest version of libgoto for this CPU installed on both boxes (libgoto_northwood32p-r1.00.so) and I am using gcc compiler flags "-O2

MGE ellipse 1200 config and documentation
Hi, I have recently purchased MGE ellipse 1200 UPS for my home system. Obviously, the choice of this particular brand was mainly dictated by MGE's long-standing support for Linux and NUT project. The fact that the box was clearly the prettiest looking one on the block did help also ;-). I have had NUT tools installed and configured in no time, as I did it numerous times before -- kudos

Poweroff USP on upsmon FSD
Hi! I'm trying to setup a small mobile server rack with key switch to power on/off the whole system. Used USP is an APC Smart-UPS 1500 SMT1500RMI2U with extra AP9613 IO card [1] to get the key switch "connected" to the UPS. The IO card has several inputs which can trigger actions like power on and "gracefully" shutdown. On key switch OFF this SMT ups model changes ups

FSD sequence: Waiting for bigger and slower clients before cutting power
Hi, this does sound like a useful idea - although for the principle of least surprise and for variation in deployments, I'd rather have it as a (non-default state of a) configuration toggle that can be set via `upsmon.conf`: whether this particular client exits after processing FSD or not. The onus for the rest would be on general systems integration - e.g. ensure that init scripts `K*`ill the

FSD sequence: Waiting for bigger and slower clients before cutting power
Hi, and thanks for this great piece of free software! I've been meaning to sort this out for some time, but we don't get power outages that often, fortunately... So, correct me if I'm wrong, but from the documentation at https:// networkupstools.org/docs/user-manual.chunked/ Configuration_notes.html#UPS_shutdown, and also reading upsmon.c, when a UPS goes OB LB (assuming we have a

System keeps going into FSD mode after power on
Hello, I am a new user of NUT and trying to wrap my ahead around a couple of things. I installed NUT 2.7.4-13 from package on RasPi 4, running Raspbian Linux 11 (bullseye). I have Cyberpower SL700U connected to it. For testing I set battery.charge.low to 90, so I wouldn't have to wait a long time. See all relevant config below. First of all, what seems to happen is that UPS gets to the low

SMT solvers in clang SA
Hi all, Currently studying the impact of SMT solvers on Clang SA. Can anyone help in telling more about the SMT solvers use in clang SA ? ( Have already tested Z3 SMT solver implemented in GSoC 2018 , also looking for other SMT solvers if possible ) Thanks, Siddharth -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I know this sounds kind of ridiculous, but you could use a hex editor to change 'FSD' to 'OFF' in blazer_usb (it only seems to occur once), which would restore the behavior of

upsmon -c fsd command in pfsense master does not shutdown Synology slave
I have pfsense set as the NUT master and my Synology NAS as a slave client. I tried recreating a shutdown sequence by issuing a /usr/local/sbin/upsmon -c fsd command in pfsense (so as to preserve battery lifetime while testing all these) but the weird thing is that my Syno doesn't seem to get a hold of the FSD event. My pfsense master and UPS shuts down properly though. As soon as I issue the

Issue with slave FSD notification on Windows port of NUT
I have the latest version of the Windows port of NUT installed on my Windows?7?machine. The UPS is connected via serial cable to the Windows machine. I also have my Synology NAS (which uses NUT) connected over the local network as a slave to the Windows NUT master. The Synology slave is configured to immediately go into "safe mode" whenever an FSD or OB+LB indication is received from the
