similar to: system sounds

been playing around a bit and noticed: When I login as root, gnome,? all the system sounds seem to be working. When I log in as a regelur user,? the system sounds do't.? I need a pod catcher to catch podcasts and download them to my HD where I can then move them onto my mp3 player that I take to work every day. I don't need a new mp3 player so don't suggest VLC. While doing a browser fingerprinting survey, I was quite surprised to see I actually have a FireFox plugin installed. The culprit is /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/librhythmbox-itms-detection-plugin.so It appears that whoever maintains the rhythmbox RPM has chosen not to package the browser plugin separately like it probably should be. So if I have the rhythmbox RPM installed, I have the plugin.
