Please help
Hi
I am a novice and need to know how to compile glibc (glibc-2.0.6)
under an i686, redhat 9,
in order to install wine-20050310. The package does not install
otherwise. Is there any other alternative (like older package
versions, I don't know where to find one).

How can I run an already installed Flash MX 2004 (on an /NTFS partition)?
First I tried wine from the Debian unstable repository. It didn't work
for installing Flash MX 2004.
Then I was given advice and I tried the latest version so grabbed

Yes, I also tried to install DCOM98.EXE by following the
instructions from http://navi.cx/svn/misc/trunk/winekb/NativeDCOM.xml
but it also had some

Could you, please, share some advice or point me to a right direction on
how to compile and assemble the latest wine packages on Debian stable?
There are dependencies which cannot be met with "stable" (gcc-4).
Also, because of wine 0.9.3 dependencies on gcc-4, is it possible to

Debug data for Wine, DirectX and games.
Hi there wine list this is not going to be a request for help as much as
it's a request for how I can help the wine developers. I've got some
time over the next couple of weeks and a stack of applications I want to
see if I can get running under wine.
I thought if I started testing a whole bunch of things I might be able
to gather some useful test data for the wine developers as a way

Newsgroup or WineHQ?
I am new to Wine although I'm not new to Linux. I have posted a couple
of bug reports at WineHQ. Then I noticed bug reports showing up here. Am
I contacting the wrong place? I also submitted a patch for one of those
bugs. Now I'm wondering if there is anybody at WineHQ to see that patch.
Should I post my patch here?
Also, I can open an ftp to winehq but then I can't cd to pub, or ls
