Filmon HDI Player
Hello, wonder if anyone can help here - perhaps a winetrick (tried DIVX - doesn't help, and slight problems with Ubuntu 9.10, like some other Linux programs have). I have tried to install a MS Windows program to watch TV, films etc. over the Internet from filmon.com. The program gives a "network problem" message after trying to authenticate the log-in name and password. There is no

Ultime9 works - or wine more win9x compatible than NT :-)
Hi, When I was about 17 (4 years ago) I dreamed Ultima9 would run on Wine. No joke - I really dreamed about it. Maybe the many not very successful tries with WineX made my brain to rebell even when I slept ;) I thing with WineX 1.1 or 2.0 it worked but: - 3d sound was broken. - Colors were mixed up + some other rendering problems - I had to hack a bit, because it crashed when it attemped to

Sent and Received peer request (Connected)
This morning I did a rolling update from the latest 3.7.x to 3.12.4, with no client activity. "Rolling" as in, shut down the Gluster services on the first server, update, reboot, wait until up and running, proceed to the next server. I anticipated that a 3.12 server might not properly talk to a 3.7 server but since I had no client activity I was not overly concerned. All three servers

[SPAM] XCP 1.0beta and vastSky. What information I have gathered, what I did and how "far" I got with it.
Hello all. I''m trying to figure out vastSky on xcp1.0 beta. As we all know, it has been integrated to the xcp. That''s just about all one can find about the matter. Been trying to google a lot, but with no luck. I''ll write here what information I''ve gathered, what I tried and how far I managed to get with this. I include information about my hardware, in case it

tc not matching
Dear all, I''m having real problems getting tc to do anything useful at all. I''m also under pressure to get this fixed before the students start arriving later this month (I work in a university). In short, I want each IP address to be hard limited to 128kbit down, 64kbit up, never to be allowed more bandwidth than this. It is also important that the latency remains

"Remembering" link to redirect to after logging in
Hi, Suppose I have a resource such as http://localhost:3000/topsecret/data that requires the user to login first. What I did was make use of before_filter to check and see if the session variable is set with the logged in user''s id (similar to the example in "Agile Web Development with Rails"). However while the filtering function does work correctly in redirecting the

[LLVMdev] MergeFunctions: reduce complexity to O(log(N))
Hi Stepan, Sorry for the delay. It's great that you are working on MergeFunctions as well and I agree, we should definitely try to combine our efforts to improve MergeFunctions. Just to give you some context, the pass (with the similar function merging patch) is already being used in a production setting. From my point of view, it would be better if we focus on improving its capability

Adobe Master Collection and Wine on Ubuntu 8.10
I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 and wine 1.0.1 and am hoping there is a way to get it to work with adobe master collection. I recently upgraded to CS4 but I also have CS3. I know adobe apps have been hit or miss for compatibility in the past but a friend said the new Ubuntu and wine made it as easy as mount and install....is this true and if not is it even possible to install either the adobe

User sets or anything similar?
Hello I got about 20 different people using 20 different PC''s in my Lan. Five of them should have unrestricted access to the internet any time of the day. Yet the rest of them should only have access at certain timeframes during the day. Two of them should have no access at all. I am well experienced in writing rules (for the rules file) that make all this possible, yet i was

[LLVMdev] MergeFunctions: reduce complexity to O(log(N))
Hello Sean and Tobias, Sean, Thank you. Could you describe Nick's ideas in few words or give me links to your discussion, so I could adapt my ideas to it. Tobias, Your patch fails on several modules in my benchmark (73 of ~1800 tests). I have sent one as attachment. See statistics files for more details, all the .ll files you could simply find in test-suite object directory (after
