Passing parameter to Queue-called macro
Hi Marie Thanks! I was just worried about thread safety if I had to use a global variable, e. g. it might be set to a value by one call (since I'm using the same global for every incoming call to transfer the accountcode gotten from my HTTP endpoint to the same macro, and there can be several calls simultaneously all inserting HTTP-sourced values at more or less the same instant) and then

SHELL() function Asterisk 13 - can only accept one paramter in string?
Hi all This is a followup on my post "Asterisk 13 - system() dialplan app cannot call bash scripts" from yesterday I've given up trying to use system() to call BASH scripts with parameters from Asterisk 13. Turned out under Asterisk 13.22.0 System() DOES work, but only if you do NOT attempt to pass any parameters to the called script. This works, and reliably calls the script:

A Stylesheet for a database app
Hi to all, I''m a new subscriber of this list and a new user of RoR. I''m looking for a stylesheet to make a simple database app nicer, a css to start working with. I have to do some simple apps and I want them to be the more uniform on the presentation side. I know I can do it for myself, but a nice stylesheet is not so easy to perform for a non-grafic geek like me, and so

I've a strange problem with ACL settings, following the data structure.I would that user1 could read/write only his personal folder, user1 belongs to domain users and can reach the user folder but he can't see his personal folder. I have tried to run setfacl -b (remove all ACL entries) and setup them again, format

Tag changes
A few days ago, I initiated a conversation with Jonathan Walther to seek his advice on how he might tag a CD that I ogg'ed. Out of this discussion, we decided to make a couple of changes to the proposed standard. 1) A new LABELNO tag was added to the list. This would contain the record label's catalogue number. Generally available on the face of the CD. Probably more useful than

Changing the binning of collected data
Dear All, Apologies if this is too simple for this list. Let us assume that you have an instrument measuring particle distributions. The output is a set of counts {n_i} corresponding to a set of average sizes {d_i}. The set of {d_i} ranges from d_i_min to d_i_max either linearly of logarithmically. There is no access to further detailed information about the distribution of the measured sizes, but

omega on debian 0.9.5
Hi, I've tested omega (cgi) on several sql databases on my local machine in which runs Ubuntu, using the version 0.9.4 (installed using apt), and I was really satisfied for the results I obtained. I customized a bit the "query" template. But once I installed omega on the server (using apt for Debian, and omega version 0.9.5), I discovered that the relevances didn't work, as

running speex on c5505 usb sticki
Hi, I am currently working on C5505 USB stick http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdx5505ezdsp.html to sample input voice and encode it. For compiling and buring usual programs, I am using CCStudio 4.0. For encoding voice samples, I am using Speex codec binary http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/speex/speex-1.2beta3-win32.zip or

running speex on c5505 usb sticki
Hi Randy, Thanks for reply. I have one question though. While compiling the speex (downloaded from http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/speex/speex-1.2rc1.tar.gz), I gave ./configure -enable-ti-c55x option and then built the library through make and make install using cygwin. In this case, I get this error "error: member "bits.o" of archive

Queue don't call Interface PJSIP
Hello. I am having a lot of problems with SIP through NAT. So, I decided to adopt PJSIP. However, I am not able to make the extensions ring when receiving a call from the queue. I'm using telnet to include the extension and on the asterisk console, it even shows Called PJSIP/6001, but the extension doesn't ring. If I call from extension to extension, it works normally. telenet:

Hi, By few months I have some troubles with a network dos application. Precisely application, randomly, get errors referring to access denied to any shared files or path not found and crash. I would ask you what kind of parameters I have to set in my "smb.conf" file (Samba v. 3.0.24), to make it more compatible with DOS 6.22. Many thanks. Marco. Marco Meli (IT Dept.) GKN SINTER

Prototype nls library for R using closures
I just uploaded to CRAN a prototype nls (nonlinear least squares) library for R. It is far from being finished but I am asking for this preliminary version to be installed in the src/contrib/Devel section of CRAN so others can see the use of function closures to emulate the behaviour of objects in languages like Java. It will be a couple of days before the file is installed in CRAN and has a

Graphs in Windows 95/95
Dear R-Listers, I'm a new R user and I've got some problems with copying/saving graphs in Windows Metafile Format. If I copy a graph from the R window (in Enhanced Metafile Format) and then paste it in WinWord 95, then everything is fine, apart from the fact that a) lines become a little bit thicker when the graph is printed; and b) dotted lines loose a little bit of resolution. However,
