Digium IP Phones
Hello,
Im looking to buy a digium phone D70 unit just for testing on lab; to
really understand the phone and features.
I cant find any website with opinions; any here? Are they really valuable
to the price? (D70 quite expensive)
Does the SDK for building apps is usable? Can you build powerfull apps?
Examples?
Many thanks

Set ringtone by dialed number
Would it be possible to set the ringtone based on the number that was dialed?
Example of what the goal is:
Dial Denver number
Incoming calls ring with ringtone 1
Dial main number
Incoming calls ring with ringtone 2
We are currently using Digium D40, D50, D70 phones.

Problem with a if statement inside a function
I have a really long functions, and at the end of the function, I am using a
if statement
to tag certain keywords based on whether they have certain values contained
in them.
However, the if statement doesn't seem to work.
When I had split up the commands into various functions, it worked fine, but
I'm not sure
what going on now that it's combined into a single function.

SIP hardware phones
I'm trying to understand why vendors keep making 100Mbps integrated 1-port switches in their hardware SIP phones. Even the recently-announced D40 and D50 Digium phones are limited to 100Mbps. Only the more expensive models (like the D70) can run at 1000Mbps.
However, you can't expect a firm with hundreds of extensions to buy the most expensive model...
And gigabit speed is important when

system unresponsive after issuing a zpool attach
Today I attempted to upgrade to S10_U2 and migrate some mirrored UFS SVM
partitions to ZFS.
I used Live Upgrade to migrate from U1 to U2 and that went without a
hitch on my SunBlade 2000. And the initial conversion of one side of the
UFS mirrors to a ZFS pool and subsequent data migration went fine.
However, when I attempted to attach the second side mirrors as a mirror
of the ZFS pool, all

Best place to issue tickets for Digium phones ?
Hello,
I've recently given a try to a Digium D70 phone.
At the moment, I'm configuring them though config files with a DHCP server
and not using DPMA.
Of course, I'm connecting them to Asteris (PJSIP stack on 13.7.0).
Which is the best place to:
- read about past issues
- open new tickets for remaining issues.
Best regards

Digium IP Phones D40
Hi All;
Any one used Digium IP Phones D40?
I need to know if they are stable with good voice quality? Comparing to Polycom 330, which is better? Let us talk frankly although I know that we have to support Digium.

DPMA and Sending fake auth rejection for device
Greetings all,
After a long day of fighting with GTalk and having it finally working, I
wanted to setup DPMA on my Digium phone.
So first of all, I had to reinstall it all and reconfigure it all, since
it works only on certified versions, and my installation was not from
the certified branch. It took a long time of recompiling, testing,
adding missing stuff, but I got it straight.
Now, I

loosing audio from one end after 5 min.
Hi all,
Just installed Asterisk 13 on CentOS 7 and have run into a problem.
The Scenario is this:
Asterisk is on the internet
the Phone, a D40, is behind NAT
So someone calls the number and Asterisk routes the call to the D40
Everything works fine and the call is established, but then after 5 min.
the caller stops getting audio from the D40 but there is still audio to
the D40.

Fwd: Re: Finney's fiducial confidence intervals of LD50
thanks a lot Renaud.
but i was interested in Finney's fiducial confidence intervals of LD50 so to obtain comparable results with SPSS.
But your reply leads me to the next question: does anybody know what is the best method (asymptotic, bootstrap etc.) for calculating confidence intervals of LD50?
i could "get rid" of Finney's fiducial confidence intervals but

Digium G100
Hi,
We recently dumped a Xorcom box that was no end of trouble and replaced
with a Digium G100. PRI came right up, and we have been using it fairly
flawlessly for several months now, with one caveat. Calls that arrive
from the PRI are sent to the asterisk instance (13.23.1, chan_sip), then
routed by the dialplan to various other gateways or upstream providers.
When the call finally lands

Finney's fiducial confidence intervals of LD50
I am working with Probit regression (I cannot switch to logit) can anybody help me in finding out how to obtain with R Finney's fiducial confidence intervals for the levels of the predictor (Dose) needed to produce a proportion of 50% of responses(LD50, ED50 etc.)?
If the Pearson chi-square goodness-of-fit test is significant (by default), a heterogeneity factor should be used to calculate

[OT] Yealink Phones
I've just started deploying these (well the T28P model) after years of
Snom issues and they look pretty good (although the documentation is
execrable; if you thought the Snom stuff was obtuse Yealink have got
them knocked into a cocked hat!).
Anyway, for provisioning I use HTTP with a DHCP entry like:-

how to get inflection point in binomial glm
Dear All,
I have a binomial response with one continuous predictor (d) and one
factor (g) (8 levels dummy-coded).
glm(resp~d*g, data, family=binomial)
Y=b0+b1*X1+b2*X2 ... b7*X7
how can I get the inflection point per group, e.g., P(d)=.5
I would be grateful for any help.
Thanks in advance,
Ren?

[OT] Yealink IP Phones
Hello all,
After numerous issues with Snom phones (360/370/870) potentially looking to migrate too Yealink as their product range looks very promising indeed.
Are any of you using them with Asterisk ? How do they perform ? Do you use mass deployment at all ?
Would be very interested to hear from you.

Thanks, Phil

Mailinglist Digium IP-phones : provisioning Digium D70
Hello,
is there a mailinglist where I can post questions regarding Digium
IP-phones ?
I have the following question :
I'm trying to provision a Digium D70 IP-phone from a https provisioning
server.
The Digium D70 contacts the provisioning server correctly but seems to
log in with the wrong credentials :
/var/log/ssl_access_log :
