About faxes recived through a PRI and passed to a fax machine connected to a FXS port
Hi, all
I want to configure a few FXS ports in an Antribank-16 to be able to
receive faxes sent throught a PRI:
E1 ==>Zap * ==>FXS * ==>Fax machine
My asterisk box has a Digium TE120P (for the PRI).
Versions are *=> 1.4.17 | Zaptel=>1.4.8 | libpri=>1.4.5
The Astribank is not configured yet, because I am a little bit
confused about how to do it.

how to avoid call waiting? Or check DIALSTATUS before Dial()?
I have two internal analogue extensions off a TDM400P. If the first is
busy, I'd like to ring the second. So:

exten =>s,1,Answer()
exten =>s,n,Dial(${mainline},60)
exten =>s,n,ExecIf($["${DIALSTATUS}" = "BUSY"]?Dial(${secondline},30))
But it doesn't work because * first tries Call Waiting on the main line.

[Puppet Upgrade] Puppet agent does not work
I upgraded Puppet master from 2.7.6 to 2.7.20 on CentOS5.8_x86_64.
But when I tried to launch ''puppet agent -t'' on one of staging servers, the
puppet daemon did not work and got heaps errors.
I have no idea what made it wrong and how to fix it.

Call dropped 100% of time when incoming IAX routed to outgoing CAPI
Good day,
The unusual thing about this problem is that it doesn't occur just during a
CAPI call, or just during an IAX/SIP call. Only during IAX/CAPI
I'm having some trouble with the CAPI interface and it only occurs when a call
comes in on an IAX channel and goes out the CAPI interface.
The capi debug in the asterisk console is below as well as the relevent parts

puppet 3.0.1 Server and passenger
Hi Everyone;
I am stumped.
I am simply trying to upgrade from puppet 3.0.0 to puppet 3.0.1 master
(rhel6)
I have followed the precise steps I used when I installed 3.0.0 to migrate
to Passenger, but for some reason, I know cannot get it running.
There are no useful errors in the logs that I can find either.
Please Help!
p.s. I have already made the required changes to the config.ru file

Dear all,
what are the key strategies for intrusion prevention and detection with
dovecot, apart from installing fail2ban?
It is a pity that the IMAP protocol does not support 2 factor
authentication, which seems to stop 90% of intrusion attempts in their
tracks. Without it, if someone has obtained your password and reads your
mail without modifying it, you will hardly ever notice.

client won't use remote file bucket

nested groups on samba 3.6 server broken
I am running a Samba 3.6.20 for my primary domain controller (+ main
file server) and my back up domain controller. Each domain controller
has an LDAP backend- the LDAP servers configured for multimaster
replication.
I have domain trusts established with a Windows 2003 AD domain
("WINDOMAIN") . I have enabled nested groups in smb.conf. Winbind
is enabled to support

unix password sync problems!
I have been trying for hours to get the unix password sync going properly
with Samba 1.9.18p4 running on FreeBSD 2.2.5
I have compiled Samba with the ALLOW_CHANGE_PASSWORD option enabled.
I created the smbpasswd file as ENCRYPTION.txt states, and can set
passwords as root.
However, when a user tries changing their password, it doesn't work.

[PATCH server] updated anyterm/ovirt integration
host static anyterm content locally,
url parameterize anyterm rows/cols/general param
update spec/makefile
Ideally I wanted and tried hard to put all this into a
seperate ovirt-server--anyterm subpackage, but we cannot
'reopen' the ovirt server virtual host defined in
ovirt-server.conf to add the neccessary rewrite rules. it would
be nice to figure out a way to do this

Colour depth reduced to 12 by bitmap devices
I am using R to create colour plots as bitmap files. I have created a
palette of 256 colours that I want to use, but the resultant output
files contain only 12 colours used in dither patterns. The result is the
same whether I use bmp() or png().
How can I get the true colours that I specified instead of dither
patterns? (making the driver's job easier!)
I am using R 1.1.0 for Windows
