partial proportional odds model (PPO)
Hi
Since the 'equal slope' assumption doesn't hold in my data I cannot use
a proportional odds model ('Design' library, together with 'Hmisc'). I
would like to try therefore a partial proportional odds model
Please, could anybody tell me, where to find the code and how to specify
such a model
..or any potential alternatives
many thanks for your kind help

I've upgraded from Mandrake 10.0 to 10.1 CE, which meant moving from wine 20040213 to 20040813.
It sorta runs ,
I have the C drive pointed to the win directory off my home dir thats used by win4lin, I know it can
see this as the fonts are OK.
I can only get regedit and notepad to run from the menubar, plus the old problem of not finding c:\

security bug or misconfiguration ?
Dear list,
We are experiencing users unexpectedly accessing each others files.
It happens when they try to access files that are called the same and which
is located in an equal file structure under their login drive. Two other
conditions
need to be fulfilled: one of the users needs to have the file locked and
both users
needs to be logged into the same Citrix server(windows-2000).

File corruption with write cache enabled - patch included
I recently found out that write caching in samba sometimes leads to
file corruption (the setup program for Sophos Antivirus generates
corrupted files when making a "central installation" on a Samba
share).
This morning I tracked down the place in the Samba code that leads to
corruption. Here is what happened to me:
"write cache size" is 8192 bytes. A client opens a new file

samba_kcc RODC failes with NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Hello list,
I try to fix my issue and found some more debug information:
1) I see error in this situation:
Default-First-Site-Name:

If I move TEST-DC to Testsite2, it fix the error, maybe because of 2).
2) python/samba/kcc/__init__.py:create_connections function try always to connect to Default-First-Site-Name, although

translate formula into R code
Cc'd back to the list... always use reply-all.
You say res should have been LSS but LSS is a scalar so the for loop will only run once. What does a successful output look like for a sample input? How do you (we) know when success has been achieved?
In fact, what is the formula you want to implement? If your code below is the definition of your "formula" then we are left with no

translate formula into R code
Hello,
I am trying to implement the following formula using for loops and vectors.
I am sure you can use some fancy R code to solve this but I would like to
keep it simple and stick to for and vector/array if that is possible.
TP = 200;
RL = 50;
TPR1 = TP - RL;
TPR2 = TP + RL;
PPO = 0;
LSS = 0.1;
counter = 1;
for(i in res) {
# Even
if(counter %% 2 == 1) {
ls = abs((sum(LSS)* TP)) /

samba_kcc RODC failes with NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Hello Rowland,
of course it will be started by samba, I saw this output if I run "samba -i".
But I can trigger this output also by starting samba_kcc manually.

Thanks for you reply.
I have installed asciidoc with "pkg_add asciidoc"
And it returns something:
# asciidoc fgh
asciidoc: FAILED: input file /root/nut/fgh missing
# which
asciidoc
/usr/local/bin/asciidoc
Maybe there is any way to skip building man pages.
This is not the such main thing as a new devices support.
I also could built the driver that I need
# make riello_ser

nut package with Riello UPS support
Hello list,
I have explored https://github.com/networkupstools/nut repository
and found that Riello UPS added into list of supported UPS.
But current package for most distribution it's nut-2.6.5 which
doesn't have Riello's models.
Do we need to wait next upcoming nut release to get start with Riello?
I tried to install from source but stuck:
# git clone

You are right.
Before install nut-cgi I have stopped apache and started it again without
chroot.
I have started it again with chroot and cgi is working!
This is best support for open source project I have ever seen.
Good luck!

Thank you very much!!
I have tried configure downloaded source with
# ./configure --with-user=_ups --with-group=_ups
--with-statepath=/var/db/nut/
and then build driver and copy again. but this doesn't help (driver pid
still in the /var/state/ups).
Maybe I must add more arguments to change driver's pid location, but I did
next, I changed this argument in openbsd ports:
# pkg_delete nut
#
