(Andere applicaties zoals notepad, wordpad, freecell, etc werkten perfect..)

How can I run an already installed Flash MX 2004 (on an /NTFS partition)?
First I tried wine from the Debian unstable repository. It didn't work for installing Flash MX 2004. Then I was given advice and I tried the latest version so grabbed and installed the .deb package from the winehq repository (Wine 20050111) Yes, I also tried to install DCOM98.EXE by following the instructions from http://navi.cx/svn/misc/trunk/winekb/NativeDCOM.xml but it also had some

Flash MX doesn't load
Hey all, I recently installed Ubuntu and then Wine so I can still run a few apps I can't avoid (like Flash). I installed Flash by double clicking on the install icon within X Windows after installing Wine. Then, upon typing "wine Flash.exe" I was getting an error about a missing .dll file. I added this to system32 and now the error does not come up. However... Flash doesn't

Macromedia FreeHand MX on Wine, doesn't create new document
Hello. I have installed Macromedia FreeHand MX under Wine 1.1.1 on Arch Linux. It installs OK, but I can't create a new document. When I go on File => New it gives an error ("Could not complete your request because an error occurred") and then Wine dies with a segmentation fault. Final words from Wine before dying: [22:39:44] [renan at sanctuary:~/.wine/drive_c/Arquivos de

Macromedia Flash MX 2004
Greetings! There are no flash editors for linux. I mean at all! That's horrible. But I think that's the reason for using a combination of Subj+wine. And I think there should be some FAQ or other type of help on this topic. Could anybody point to such a help source for me? Or maybe you could help me to resolve the source of such an error: fixme:ntdll:NtQueryInformationProcess

Re: Flash plugin for CentOS
Nels, > I've got an easier solution. Excellent! Your solution is absolutely easier, and IT WORKS! After following your instructions, "This Land" by the JibJab brothers played without a hitch. With your permission, I will write up an FAQ and give you the credit. If anyone has not seen "This Land" yet, you owe it to yourself to take a look:

Re: one step closer to Flash MX 2004 installation
As one last option, try installing Internet Explorer - the installer might be depending on stuff that it provides. It may simply be a deficiency in Wine. File a bug report, and please post your experiences in the AppDB page for it here: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=2294 If you want to maintain the app and test it with new wine versions, feel free. Icecast in Macromedia Flash
No audio with IE 5.5 SP2 on Windows 2k. Sorry for the bad news. But why? Maybe it's a cross-site-error so that IE blocks access to a different server for security-reasons? Could you please put the player under the web-root of your icecast2-server and give us the links? Maybe that helps - cause then the audio is coming from the same URL. <p>Regards, Stefan On 4 Dec 2003 at 20:23,

Vorbis in Macromedia Flash (was Icecast in...)
Hi Jack, It's a good idea. I am going to email macromedia to ask support for ogg in Flash. Anyway, it is impossible it would be available before end of 2004 because the brand new Flash 2004 was just released. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
Hi, I hope this is the correct mailing list to send to. Basically I have just put in a full Linux computer suite in the school I work at. The problem is they need the Macromedia Suite for their 6th form students. As I couldn't get MX2004 to work at all I have 'downgraded' to MX. Fireworks, Freehand and Flash MX all work perfectly! But... Dreamweaver does not. What happens is I run

Icecast in Macromedia Flash
Hi Stephan, Thanks for reporting. Now we know it doesn't work on IE 5.5/Windows (but it works on IE5.2 on MAC). You had nice idea to store the file on the icecast2 root. Unfortunately, I already tried it few days ago and it didn't work either... Cheers, MAX -----Original Message----- From: owner-icecast@xiph.org [mailto:owner-icecast@xiph.org] On Behalf Of Stefan Neufeind Sent:
