Weird segfault
Hi, My asterisk segfaults a few times each day and the crash problem seems weird. When I run gdb on the core dump, it almost always segfaults on free() or malloc(). When I run the back trace, I see something weird. Here's one of the back traces. #0 0x4017f87f in _int_free () from /lib/libc.so.6 #1 0x4017e7f5 in free () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0x403be83e in __sip_destroy (p=0x8248c88,

Faxes stopped working - AMI issue?
I recently upgraded from Asterisk 13.19 to 16.6.1. Everything is working fine with a few minor tweaks except outgoinf fax. Incoming works fine. I do outgoing faxing through an AMI call. Here is the output from the security log: [Nov 27 06:16:05] SECURITY[101222] res_security_log.c:

Trouble with PDC setup using Samba 3.0.23 and OpenLDAP
Hi everyone, I am trying to setup a PDC using Samba and OpenLDAP. For some reason, I've used both the examples provided in the Official Howto and also the smbldap-tools howto developed by IDEALX. I am able to get the directory up and running. I am able to get the following working: 1. LDAP Directory server and successful Queries through Samba 2. Add user and machine accounts. 3.

How to disable dnsmasq from starting automatically with libvirtd
Hi. I have a machine with a local DHCP server and a couple of virtual networks and I've configured the server for each virtual interface, so that I would be able to install VMs on the corresponding subnets using PXE. The problem is that the two DHCP servers (my local server and dnsmasq) are conflicting with each other causing the boot process to either fails or takes ages untill a VM can

More failover issues
In 1.6.0, when creating a MDT, you could specify multiple --mgsnode options and it would failover between them. 1.6.3 only seems to take the last one and --mgsnode=192.168.1.252 at o2ib:192.168.1.253 at o2ib doesn''t seem to failover to the other node. Any ideas how to get around this? Robert Robert LeBlanc College of Life Sciences Computer Support Brigham Young University leblanc at

broken network-support for netBSD-domUs?
Hello. I recently tried installing NetBSD-5 on xen-4.0.1-rc5, which resulted in no network (xennet0 can''t get IPs per dhclient and has no connectivity if set by hand). Tried it with netBSD-5.1-RC3-1 i386 PAE & amd64, netBSD-5.0 and even 4, all with the same result. On a older xen version (3.3.1) networking works fine, so I assume it''s a xen bug, and not a netBSD-kernel
