Asterisk Behind Firewall
I was wondering if anyone can give me any pointers or insights of whether or not to have an asterisk server behind a firewall. I have always ran Asterisk on a public IP but was wondering if I should move it to a local IP behind a firewall. I am looking to set up a location with 300 SIP phones. Normally, I would put the Asterisk server on one public IP and let the SIP phones get DHCP from a

Info 16.13.0 with SNOM FW 8.7.5.35
Hello, I found a problem with latest Asterisk 16.13.0 and SNOM3xx phones (EOL) running the above FW. Incoming calls are no more working, we get error 404 despite the fact that broken registrar is on for the account. Previous FW for this phones don't have the problem. At this time I open a ticket at SNOM support, don't know if I should also open an issue at jira. Regards -- Daniel

Adding Gluster support for Primary Storage in CloudStack
Hi all, I'd like to inform any CloudStack users that there are now patches [0] available (for CoudStack) that make it possible to use an existing Gluster environment as Primary Storage on CloudStack. The changes extend CloudStack so that libvirt will be used for mounting the Gluster Volume over the fuse-client. Some further details and screenshots are available on my blog [1]. If there

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.9.99.901
Ok, I think we've done enough damage for one release. Thanks everyone for pulling a long weekend to get changes prepared and reviewed. We're still missing the threaded input stuff, but that needs more review and I think we wore Tiago out this time around. If someone wants to propose merging it after the freeze, I think we should consider doing it. Note that this tarball depends on
