Unable to follow dfs referral - still a problem for smbclient & also freebsd smbfs
Hi, Does anyone know if there has been any more progress on the problem of browsing 'complex dfs roots' see http://lists.samba.org/archive/smb-clients/2006-February/000622.html Basically it occurs whenever you have a Microsoft Distributed File System Tree where the links are to subfolders of the destination share. Microsoft clients have no trouble browsing such trees. The Samba HOWTO

Predictive call - agent talking to a customer, then suddenly talking to another customer
Hi, do you have NAT between Asterisk and agent phones? S pozdravem Tomáš Holý Hi Tomas Thanks for replying. Yes, the phones are in one location in a LAN and are then NATed to enable them to contact the Asterisk which is hosted in the cloud. A typical sip.conf phone configuration on the remote server for the site is [general] session-timers=refuse disallow=all allow=g729:20 allow=ulaw

Using MSDFS
I've set up a dfs share according to instructions. There is one part of the instructions that I don't understand. I've checked the forum archives but can't find any examples which might help. In the Instructions section (4.1 of the HTML Samba Project Documentation), is shows how to set up the symbolic links in a DFS share, as shown below. I have 2 Samba servers (SMB1 and SMB2).

Asterisk 11 - BLF on Custom devices
In testing Asterisk 11, I've found that Asterisk doesn't seem to be sending BLF updates to SIP peers that have subscribed to a hint looking at a Custom device if that Custom device state is RINGING or RING_INUSE. All other states seem to be working correctly. The hint section of the dialplan is: [hints] exten => _3XX,hint,Custom:${EXTEN} Console shows the following for core show

Newbie AEL2: Syntax for Hint
I am struggling to find out how to code hint in AEL2. I did hint(Custom:light1) and it keeps complaining about the : (colon). It works fine for SIP device like hint(SIP/439). Anyone who has tried it before?

SetLanguage application doesn;t seem to work in latest Asterisk
Hello everybody, I have installed Asterisk from CVS (18/07/2003) and although everything works fine, SetLanguage application doesn't seem to work. As it used to work with previous version I wonder if I am missing something here. The relevant line in extensions.conf is: exten => 3,1,SetLanguage(gr) In the directory where Asterisk sounf files reside, I have installed files of the type

[PATCH net-next] vhost_net: disable zerocopy by default
Vhost_net was known to suffer from HOL[1] issues which is not easy to fix. Several downstream disable the feature by default. What's more, the datapath was split and datacopy path got the support of batching and XDP support recently which makes it faster than zerocopy part for small packets transmission. It looks to me that disable zerocopy by default is more appropriate. It cold be enabled

Anyway to control the LEDs on the Aastra 55i six top buttons? Maybe through Asterisk?
Hi Everyone, We use the top buttons on Aastra 55i to login and logout from Queues. This is the order: Button 1 = Login to English Queue Button 2 = Login to Spanish Queue Button 3 = Logout of English/Spanish Queues There are indicator LEDs on each of these buttons. Is there anyway we can send a SIP request or some other communication to get the Aastra 6755i phone to keep the LED for login set

Assignement of extension to Netmeeting with dynamic IP address
Hello everybody, I wonder if anyone can help me in something I am trying to do but have no clue on how to do it: I have an Asterisk installation and I would like to be able to assign certain extensions to people with NetMeetings that take dynamic IP address. Does any one know how I can get the IP of an incoming channel in order to be able to dial back to that channel after the call is hangup?

libFLAC++ Seeking
Hello, I've a problem with seeking using libFLAC++ API. The call to seek_absolute always returns with false, whatever I do. I tried many different ways, finally I tried to reduce my added code to near zero, so I used the cpp decode example in ...\flac-1.2.1\examples\cpp\decode\file\.main.cpp and added only one line: bool b=decoder.seek_absolute(1000); right before ok =
