With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now! But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an environment I am comfortable in. Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi, or if there's even a useful port? Thanks

I have the Asterisk book, it's enormous, the 4th edition as per http://www.asteriskdocs.org/. I'd like to do something like: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+quickstart just to have two hardphones act as extensions and call each other. Is that a reasonable first task? +1 I just today installed CentOS Userland on a Raspberry Pi 2B and have started using it as a firewall. It is fast and really works perfectly for this use case. I have an HDMI to VGA adapter and a PS/2 mouse/keyboard to USB adapter to connect to my 16 port KVM switch.
