Audiocodes gateway and asterisk
Is anyone on the list using an Audiocodes gateway with asterisk and SIP? I'm looking at that platform, but I have a couple of issues: 1) Echo cancellation. The echo that I'm hearing with an X100P is unacceptable. Does the Audiocodes do better? 2) Line signalling. I'm using Kewlstart with the X100P, but it looks like the audiocodes uses loopstart only. How does this work with

Audiocodes MP124-FXS replying BUSY when line is not.
Hello, Has anybody seen that Audiocodes gateway is replying with "486 Busy here" when it's actually not (last call ended ~15 seconds ago). I see this quite often. From other logs i see that previous call ends at 11:13:01, then app_queue tries to dial at 11:13:14 and fails numerous times, before succeeding at 11:14:02 I have attached sample SIP debug log: Any ideas what i could

Unable to get Fax t38 working with IrisTel trunk
Hi everyone, I have been trying to get T.38 Faxing to work with Iristel sip trunks for last few days but havn't been sccussful. I am using Asterisk 1.6.2.8 and SpanDSP 0.6. Here is what I see in the tcpdump capture: 1. Call come in from the trunk as regular voice call with g.711 codec 2. Asterisk answers the call and recognizes the CNG and sends the call to fax extension 3. Eventually

PJSIP ports, multiple IP addresses and wrong owner
Dear list, I am currently trying to send faxes via T.38 using PJSIP (newest version 2.3) with Asterisk 13.0.2. After having configured PJSIP, I have seen several things the cause of which I would like to know. 1) Ports and IP addresses which PJSIP bind to I have configured one transport like that: [tr_wZCMk5MvC2ATNzAr] type = transport protocol = udp bind = 192.168.20.48 Nevertheless, PJSIP

Is anyone on this list using and audiocodes FXO gateway? I have Asterisk(1.07 on OS X) setup and working fine, including SIP phones and IAX2 phones - I can make outbound calls just fine and receive inbound calls just fine. However, I can't seem to find the right series of DTMF settings on the AudioCodes to allow DTMF tones to be sent after an outbound call is connected(phone banking,

T.38 not working - help needed with log interpretation
Dear all, I have the following situation: Local T.38 endpoint <-> ASTERISK <-> SIP provider (with T.38 support) I am trying to send a fax from my local T.38 endpoint to arbitrary external fax numbers (which I am not in control of, so I don't know if the other end supports T.38, is connected to a PBX, who is their provider, and so on), of course trying to use T.38 at least from

Calls disconnect after 15 minutes | cause=408 ; text="408 Request Timeout"| Asterisk 11.8.1 --> Audiocodes Mediant 2000 v.6.40A.063.001
We're experiencing an issue where calls disconnect after 15 minutes. It seems to happen just after Asterisk sends an update mesage. RTP is being set up directly. Asterisk is only in the SIP dialog. Has anyone experienced this issue? 4 PRIs inbound, 4 PRIs outbound, asterisk provides switching. SIP/2.0 200 OK Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 38.XXX.XXX.XXX:5060;branch=z9hG4bK1c4b524f From:
