Voice recognition IVR Is it possible?
Thanks, this looks promising. I was wondering if there's an easier way to get this to work inside FreePBX?
I have all of the dependencies installed for it, but now I want to know if there's a mod I can use in FreePBX to get it setup?

Asterisk and voice recognition
Hi all,
Yes, this might not be the proper list for this, but i have a question about Asterisk and voice recognition.
If I want to create a menu system where the user can say different things in the Swedish language what should I look at?
For example, i want the user to be able to say something simular in Swedish:
connect
disconnect
help and so on.
Best regards and thanks,
Christian

Looking for Speech Recognition (ASR) suggestions
Is it correct that the unimrcp is the best approach for Asterisk and ASR/TTS?
Could anyone provide pros/cons for the various ASR options for Asterisk?
We need the ability for very large grammars (over 100,000 options). Because of this, my initial thought is Nuance or Lumenvox. Does this sound correct?
Have a great day!

Looking for Speech Recognition (ASR) suggestions
Hello Luca,
Thank you for your response. I?m familiar with speech recognition and TTS, but new to MRCP.
Yes, the 100k options is used for names in a directory listing.
In the pre-MRCP support, Nuance ASR used API events/methods for the application to tell ASR when the prompt was playing and when it stopped. If ASR detected speech, it would signal an event so we would stop playing the prompt.

Dial and start music on hold after timeout
Sorry, I forgot to write that the SIP peer must keep ringing while the
announcement is being played.

That's just what I'm using, John.
But I'm getting (eg)

Dial and start music on hold after timeout
Thank you for the idea. The problem with RetryDial, is that it will
cancel the first call, play the announce and then dial the SIP peer once
again, so the telephone will display a missed call. I would prefer to do
everything in a single call.

Problem with OPTIONS requests.
I'm implementing a SBC with my Asterisk PBX but the keeps disabling the
trunk group I've configured and I think it may be because Asterisk is
returning a 4r04 to the OPTIONS.
I've created a test context and have put in a wildcard pattern match to try
and catch those options but it doesn't seem to work.
Is there a way to have asterisk respond with an 200 OK instead of a 404?
