similar to: wininet.dll is not installed error

I have not installed windows but I made the dir /c windows \windowssystem etc I have wininet.dll in system . It finds it but I get access violation . I tried by moving that file and put in the conf file "wininet" ="builtin" But that doesn't work I get a popopup saying to dload ie or put the dll into system dir . I tried wine --dll wininet,wininet=b and n and --dll wininet=b

I run several programs under Wine. Specifically, I'm running the win32 half-life server, hlds.exe, and the program TotalCommander, a windows file manager program. If I try to minimze either of these programs, they minimize and immediately pop back up again.
