News about a BarCamp about VoIP open source, RPi2, XiVO, webRTC
Dear asterisk users,
We would like to announce 2 VoIP activites
organised by XiVO. For those who've never heard about the project: XiVO
is a free/open source telephone system under the GPLv3 that has been
based on asterisk since 2005. More info on our website: http://xivo.io
[3]. We have an IRC channel, #xivo on freenode and a forum [0]. Feedback
and contributions are always welcome :)

How does a noob have to uninstall Wine (on MacOSX)??
Hello,
I have tried to install Wine on my mac pro (leopard 10.5.6) but it did'nt work very well. When I wanted to run a windows applications, wine told me that I had to install Freetype 2.0.5 or later. I downloaded it from this website : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=3157.
Unfortunately I didn't install freetype properly. As a consequence, when I try to run an

(fast) AGI and AMI synchronization ?
Hi,
I've been developing some CTI software around asterisk for a while,
mainly with the help of AMI and fast AGI.
It works quite fine, but I have some trouble sometimes with the
un-synchronized property of these 2.
Let me explain, we have a dialplan like this one :
exten = s,n,UserEvent(useful_input_data)
(...) a few actions
exten = s,n,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:3333/fetch,queuename)
The idea is

Example of Jitsi Desktop provisioning file
Hello,
1. I'm looking for an (anomized) example of a Jitsi Desktop provisioning
file compliant with Asterisk ?
Jitsi Doc mentions it should adhere to Java properties file syntax (see
[1]) but a working example would help.
If this example file included the following settings, it would be perfect:
- sip username, secret, authname, ...
- codec G711, RFC2833
- BLF
- local or remote phonebook

[LLVMdev] Code-generation: lang=>JSON, JSON=>lang and merging into lang
Possibly protobuf or capn proto would be much more clean alternatives to
json. I was working with interpreting instruction semantics a while back,
and you shouldn't have to write a parser to get the data structure back
into coherent form, you can get what you want automatically and have the
structure isolated into a common schema.

Asterisk + voxbone ==> Failed to authenticate user
Hi every all,
since a few weeks I came back to asterisk and tried to install version 1.6.
The installation went fine so I decided to buy new dids on Voxbone.
I have added the sip peers of Voxbone Belgium1 like this in the sip.conf

gfid entries in volume heal info that do not heal
OK, so here?s my output of the volume info and the heal info. I have not yet tracked down physical location of these files, any tips to finding them would be appreciated, but I?m definitely just wanting them gone. I forgot to mention earlier that the cluster is running 3.12 and was upgraded from 3.10; these files were likely stuck like this when it was on 3.10.

[asterisk-app-dev] ARI application execution feature survey
Hi Asterisk users,
I'm one of Asterisk ARI users, and trying to designing the new ARI for
application execution in Stasis().
This will be made possible for executing the applications in the
Stasis() application.
But, before going further, I would like to know which application needs
to be considered.
Because this feature will introduce new Stasis behavior, I would like to
test the
