DAHDI and Oslec
I'm hoping someone can help me here. I've purchased replacement systems for 3 aging 1.4.x installs. I'm hoping to setup Asterisk 11, dahdi 2.6.1 and Oslec. I'm also moving those installs from Mandriva 10.0 to Debian 6.06 (Squeeze). In my testing, the TE220P PCIe cards that I have, the timing was awful on both slots, so I compiled Kernel 3.6.9 from kernel.org. Timing jumped to

oslec + dahdi
Hi list, I install dahdi-linux successfully with the module of oslec for the echo, but when I specify it in the system.conf the echo canceller oslec it shows me errors: DAHDI_ATTACH_ECHOCAN failed on channel 4: Invalid argument (22) I see that the echo cancellers is supported: mg2, kb1, sec2, and sec because oslec is not supported?, but he has support to compile it with dahdi_linux! best

Problems with Dahdi 2.3.0.1 trying to load OSLEC
Hello list, I'm facing a little issue with dahdi attempting to load the OSLEC echo canceller into my current kernel. After compiling dahdi 2.3.0.1 with OSLEC support, I get the following error when set 'oslec' as the echocanceller: DAHDI_ATTACH_ECHOCAN failed on channel 1: Invalid argument (22) - Similar errors are *NOT* present using other echo canncelers. - I tried adding the

Problem with DAHDI and OSLEC integration.
Hi List. I've bought a new server for my home asterisk installation and I'm trying to install asterisk with dahdi drivers and OSLEC. To do that I've got the svn dahdi-linux trunk revision 5366 and the echo subproject from the 2.6.28-rc6 Linux kernel sources. As reported in the dadhi README file I've uncommented out the two OSLEC related lines at Kbuild file in the

Oslec issue
Yesterday I pulled in the latest svn of Dahdi and added the files from a recent kernel in the drivers/staging/echo structure and modified the Kbuild file so it would compile without error. I insmod'ed the module in, and modified my system.conf has echocanceller=oslec. cat /proc/dahdi/1 shows: Span 1: WCTDM/0 "Wildcard TDM410P Board 1" (MASTER) IRQ misses: 1 1

Kernel panic (asterisk 1.8.0-rc3, dahdi-linux-2.4)
Hi, I setup an asterisk system (asterisk 1.8-rc3, dahdi-linux-2.4.0 with dahdi-extra from Tzafrirs git, kernel 2.6.35.4). The hardware is an older pc system with Celeron CPU (2.5 GHz) with a Beronet BN4S0 ISDN card. The system starts without any errors. I discovered a severe issue. The kernel panics on a very small load. The first call normally gets through. If I start the second or third call

Which oslec.h should will work?
Trying to build oslec. Following dahdi-linux README I copy drivers/staging/echo to dahdi-linux/drivers/staging. I uncomment the 2 oslec lines in drivers/dahdi/Kbuild. That doesn't work: /home/asterisk/build/dahdi/svn/dahdi-linux/drivers/dahdi/dahdi_echocan_oslec.c:33:35: error: ../staging/echo/oslec.h: No such file or directory So: wget

howto build oslec with dahdi-linux-2.1.0.4 or svn?
On Fedora 11, gcc-4.4, I'm trying to build oslec in dahdi-linux, but: [asterisk at asterisk dahdi-linux]$ make make -C drivers/dahdi/firmware firmware-loaders make[1]: Entering directory `/home/asterisk/build/dahdi/svn/dahdi-linux/drivers/dahdi/firmware' make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/asterisk/build/dahdi/svn/dahdi-linux/drivers/dahdi/firmware' make -C

HPEC performance
Does this make a significant improvement? The box in question I was going to try this with has a 4 port TDM card w/ plenty of horsepower, but I do intend to later migrate to a Soekris unit running Astlinux and therefore might not have the power to run it after. If the difference is significant, I may move to an ITX board so I could use a bigger CPU, but only if the hassle is worthwhile. Any

asterisk core dumped after UBUNTU 14.04 dist-upgrade
Hi I had a bad experience upgrading Ubuntu a few months ago. Today I made a "dd" copy to another harddisk and tried to dist-upgrade. I get "Illegal instruction (core dumped)" running "service asterisk debug" at random places. Any help will be appreciated to spot this problem. I think it is worth to mention that the dadhi hardware is not present at the copied

SSL traffic on RTP instance without an SSL session
Hi All We've been reading this in the CLI a lot lately: Received SSL traffic on RTP instance '0x7fe7481faad8' without an SSL session How can we find details about this particular RTP instance? "rtp set debug" needs an IP which is precisely what I want to know (and I don't)! Cheers Ethy

Function IMPORT and Local channels
Hi all These questions were asked back in 2009 at lists.digium.com and got unanswered: - Has someone been successful in using IMPORT on a Local channel ? - Is there a known limitation in doing so ? I run into the same problem. ${IMPORT(Local/1234 at example-abcd;2,CALLERID(dstchannel))} returns nothing. But I can read the dstchannel for it into the CDR. Asterisk is 11.7.0~dfsg-1ubuntu1

inspecting what''s going in a class
Well, things seem to be going really well with tbf, prio and sfq. But I''m a nosey bugger. :-) I''d love to be able to audit what''s going through each of the prio bands. The super ideal solution would be to be able to attach tcpdump to each band and see what''s going through it with the benefit of tcpdump''s filtering so that I can examine and filter

shaping using source IP after NAT
Hi all I am using a pass trhu router and I need to QoS some clients output by its IP address. The problem is that QoS is due after NATing. Is there some clever way of doing this besides MARKing every packet with some IP hashing in POSTROUTING NAT table? Regards Ethy
