Yes/No Pedantic Patch
Hello developers. I have made a yes/no 'pedantic' patch that affects how ssh command line and other agents that employ yes/no prompts interpret results. The nature of the patch is the following: When prompted with things like: ----SNIP---- ./ssh localhost The authenticity of host 'localhost (127.0.0.1)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is

Pedantic=yes not working
Hi List, I have a provider that uses 6060# as a prefix, but when I send the INVITE asterisk is changing the number to 6060%23. I have activated pedantic=yes in the sip.conf but it seems not working at all. I have asterisk 11.7.0. Can someone please guide me here? Thanks, Wilmar -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] Compiling with -ansi and -pedantic
Hi, I'd like to use the compiler flags -ansi -pedantic -Wno-long-long in my project but some llvm headers cause errors with them. I tried to compile llvm with these flags but it proved to be quite difficult. The headers, however, seemed easier to fix. Almost all of the errors were commas at the ends of enum lists or extraneous semicolons after namespaces. I went ahead and hunted down

hivex: lintain being pedantic about spelling!
Thanks very much for the responses on my last three issues. I've incorporated the appropriate changes into the budding Debian package. I feel embarrassed to raise this one, but in the interests of shutting lintian up maybe this could be fixed at some point: I: hivex: spelling-error-in-manpage usr/share/man/man1/hivexregedit.1.gz reencode re-encode I: libhivex-perl: spelling-error-in-manpage

[LLVMdev] Build failure due to -pedantic?
Chris said something about Xcode fixing this ? It doesn't happen with the GCC 3.4.6 compiler on Linux so that's why I missed it, but I thought Chris had fixed it. Reid. reencoding OGG Vorbis
Hi! Inspired by the discussion about mixing Vorbis streams and so on I came to the question whether Vorbisstreams can be, just like MP3, reencoded without further loss. As I heard, and I am pretty sure that it's true, MP3 files can be decoded and reencoded unlimited times without further quality loss (of course the same encoder with the same preferences has to be used all the time). Is this

how to collect user entered digits
Hello all, I have been searching thru all docs that I can find on wiki and such but can not get an answer. I am trying to collect a date from user input in the form of digits dialed from the phone to use in an agi script to do a database look up. I have tried to use "Get Data filename, timeout, maxdigits " in the agi script. In * console I get message saying playing filename but it

VBR reencoding @128k problem
I did some further investigating into this issue and here's what I found: It appears somewhere between ices0.1.0 and ices 0.2.0 is where the "bug" (for lack of a better term) was introduced that i'm noticing. When I compile ices0.2.0 w/lame 3.89beta, the VBR is *NOT* reencoded, but instead streamed out at full VBR bitrate(s). However, when using ices0.1.0 w/lame 3.89beta, it

re-encoding questions
A couple pf questions regarding reencoding... I've got ogg, mp3, and aac files to stream. a) What are the restrictions in the current version of ices (0.4?), is it that channels and samplerate must be equal in all files? b) will they be reencoded to ogg or to mp3, or is there a choice? Thanks. -- Guy

Fwd: Random "fast forward" noise between tracks
Hello all, I have subscribed to this list hoping I might find someone who can suggest a fix for a problem I'm experiencing with Icecast (or possibly something else in my setup). Here is my configuration: Foobar2000 is running on a Windows XP PC. It has the Oddcast plugin and it is streaming to a Linux machine that is running Icecast Server 2.3.2. Foobar2000 is using the Crossfade,
