SIP/SDP for MulticastRTP page
Hi everyone, I am sending out a multicast page using the following in my dialplan: Page(MulticastRTP/linksys/${MULTICAST_IP_ADDR}:6061/${MULTICAST_IP_ADDR}:6061,q) Everything works great, but I had a question about SIP and SDP: Should I be seeing a SIP/SDP message from the asterisk server containing media information and the multicast IP address? On wireshark, I see SIP/SDP from the admin

multicastRTp
I am using a cyberdata "sip paging adapter" and with the Dial(MulticastRTP/basic/IP:port) and with tshark I see the RTP data, my device looks like its accepting the data and I hear a click for my relay on my device so it would seem its accepting the call, however - I hear no audio... Asterisk 11.11.0 is what I am using. What might be wrong here? Thanks, jerry -------------- next part

"CBAnn" channel not going away in Asterisk 12
After an upgrade to Asterisk 12, I'm "collecting" channels. When I enter and then exit a conference room, I see: -- <CBAnn/207-0000067f;1> Playing 'confbridge-leave.slin' (language 'en') -- Channel CBAnn/207-0000067f;2 joined 'softmix' base-bridge <5edb1920-3774-4ba3-8c4d-23e8fd04519c> -- Channel CBAnn/207-0000067f;2 left

Know who's logged in
Hi all, For those of you people that use Agents (with Agentlogin, not AgentCallbackLogin) on a call center, I have this need: when the agent logs in, a channel keeps running all the time that the agent is logged in to receive the incoming calls. How do I know which agent logged in (code)? Right now, if I query the login channel, there is no information about which agent is logged on: #

Hello, I am struggling to have a SPA504G to auto answer (for intercom/paging). I have tried the following SIP headers (not all together), but without luck: SIPAddHeader(Call-Info:\;answer-after=0); SIPAddHeader(Call-Info: answer-after=0); SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: info=intercom); SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: Ring Answer); SIPAddHeader(P-Auto-Answer: normal); Any other ideas? multicastRTP source interface
I have an asterisk 11.4.0 server with two interfaces, eth0 and eth1. Eth0 has a default gateway on it, eth1 is connected the subnet that has my phones registered. I'd like to use the multicastRTP driver to do paging. However, when a phone dials an extension with multicastRTP, the multicast stream goes to the primary interface (eth0) and it really needs to go to eth1. Is there a

how to join 2 channels using AGI/AMI
this is the point, and the strange thing: DTMF is set to rfc2833, but is working both on incoming and outgoing calls, it is not working only on calls generated with the Originate AMI command, or with the queue member that point to Local dialplan, as you suggested 2016-06-30 22:53 GMT+02:00 John Kiniston <johnkiniston at gmail.com>: > Looking at your logs it looks like you may need to

Multicast RTP
I'm currently working with Asterisk 11.8.1 trying to get Multicast RTP working (it's not) with some Polycom phones, and I'm really trying to determine if Asterisk or the phones are the issue. I THINK it's Asterisk... In extensions.conf I have a simple: "Page(MulticastRTP/basic/x.x.x.x:xxxx) line, and when I dial that extension I get: -- Called

Multicast to polycom from asterisk
I am using 11.17.0 - and MulticastRTP. Doesnt seem to work with polycom phones as other devices receive my multicast just fine. Is there something special to do to get multicast working with polycom phones? (other than enable multicast on the actual phone). Stuck Parked Calls?
I've lurked for a while, but I think this is one of my first "pleas" for help. I'm having issues where a parked call using the macro below is getting "stuck". Users park the call via a blfxfer key on an Aastra phone. If the call is a blind transfer, it tries to park the call. If it isn't a blind transfer, it tries to unpark the call. Only 2 extensions (2759 and

Calling SIP extension through Local/XXXX negotiates slin codec instead of gsm
I am configuring a test Asterisk server (1.8.9.2) to practice setting a single codec globally, to avoid transcoding as much as possible. Since all of my recordings are in gsm format, I am trying to make the SIP clients use gsm everywhere. I am using Ekiga on Fedora 16 x86_64 for my tests.
