Hi list someone is trying to hack my server . Is there any way by whcih I can stop hacking of my server except iptables ? I want to stop on the basis of sip.conf account only. bcoz I can't apply iptables rules on server it's remote server of server provider and we used it for making voip call for customers. for the time been i have close all sip accounts. but can't stop for more then

We have a customer reporting poor quality calls when they come to us via a particular provider. The SIP traces look perfectly normal both on the ingress to us and egress to another telco. No additional sip messages after the call has been answered until the BYE is received. When a caller calls my google voice phone number, I must answer, wait and press one to accept. Sometimes even that does not work. I have tried a few different things to get asterisk to place the call in an answered state and send the DTMF 1 with the Dial macro. I found Malcom Davenports wiki page regarding Google calling which has been very helpful in troubleshooting the issue.
