Problems with replication in the Samba 4
Hi, I noticed that my Samba 4 DC isn't OK, because the are differences between the data storaged int he Schema on my Windows Server 2008 (isn't R2) DC and Samba 4 DC. This way, I performed several tests on my servers as shown below. Follow the results of command repadmin in the Windows Server 2008: C:\Windows\system32>repadmin /showreps /verbose Default-First-Site-Name\WIN-DC1

Job Logs errorrs
We are running SAP on a HPUX 11 DB server, with 6 x NT Apps servers Occassionally we get a number of failures on batch jobs - across any number of servers, sometimes with the job terminating immediately on start up, or other times after several hours of processing. The jobs terminate but we are unable to view the job logs, and the error messages we are getting from samba logs are in the format:

[libnbd PATCH] pread_structured: Change callback type to use Mutable error
Take advantage of the previous patch to make it easier for language bindings to affect the exact error they want on failure, rather than requiring them to influence errno. Update the python test to tickle the changed bindings, and to prove that we can at least trigger an exception, although we are still lacking bindings for python code to access the last NBD exception and error code gracefully

Indexing Mail faster
Hi, I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube). Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options? Would having all mails indexed give fast results? Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how much faster are we looking at? Really appreciate if someone could advise about this. Thanks Kevin

With a current version of Dovecot a search is pretty fast _without_ using external indexes. I have a view defined (virtual plugin) with around 22.000 messages in it, and searching the full view only takes 2.5

[libnbd PATCH 0/8] Add nbd_pread_callback
I've mentioned this topic before (in fact, the idea of adding NBD_CMD_FLAG_DF was first mentioned at [1]), but finally finished enough of an implementation to feel confident in posting it. I'd still like to add something under examples/ that uses the new API to implement strict checking of a server's structured replies read implementation (ensure that a server never sends data after

[PATCH libnbd v2] generator: Define new Closure type instead of callbacks.
A Closure is a list of (usually one, but can be more) closures. In C there is also a singe ‘void *user_data’ parameter which is passed by the caller into the function and through as the first parameter of each callback invocation. By grouping the previously separate Opaque and Callback* parameters together we can avoid the awkward situation where we have to scan through the argument list to try
