asterisk & distributed device state => res_jabber Versus res_ais
Hello, as I'm looking for a solution (with asterisk 1.6.2) , my investigations leaded to : - res_ais => libais & corosync. (each node need to run corosync / aiexec) - res_jabber => libjabber & iksemel. (each node need to be connected on an XMPP server) I've been able to make some successful tests with res_ais on 2 servers but got some CPU issues with corosync after

Server-to-server BLF
Hi all, Do you have an idea on the best way on how to implement a system with multiple Asterisk servers with BLF working in such a way that a peer on one server can subscribe to another peer on the other server in a seamless manner? Has anyone set-up a system like this before? Thanks! Regards, Ronald -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

How to extract channel-id of a user or peer
Hi, my question is how can i get channel-id of a user or peer. I tried using ChanIsAvail(username). this works correctly when user and asterisk are on Local LAN. But my asterisk server is on public ip and users are behind nat, and so this method says unknow host when used on public asterisk server. I also tried built-in variable ${CHANNEL}, but this returns the channel-id of the calling channel.

ocfs2_controld binary
I have been reading loads of threads over different mailing lists about ocfs2_controld, so have anyone ever built Cluster stack (openAIS, pacemaker, corosync + OCFS2 1.4) from source and got o2cb agent working with pacemaker? Got this from messages: /var/log/messages:Aug 14 15:05:20 ip-172-16-2-12 o2cb(resO2CB:0)[4239]: ERROR: Setup problem: couldn't find command:

Configuring Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker
Hi everyone, I need some help to setup my configuration failover system. My goal is to have a redundance system using Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker On Xen I will have one virtual machine. When this computer has network down, I will do a Live migration to the second computer. The first configuration I will need is a crossover cable, won''t I? It is really necessary? Ok, I did it. eth0

Problem with CLVM (really openais)
I'm desparately looking for more ideas on how to debug what's going on with our CLVM cluster. Background: 4 node "cluster"-- machines are Dell blades with Dell M6220/M6348 switches. Sole purpose of Cluster Suite tools is to use CLVM against an iSCSI storage array. Machines are running CentOS 5.8 with the Xen kernels. These blades host various VMs for a project. The iSCSI

Asterisk as XMPP component. How to use it ?
Hi, Do you really think Presence should be used to forward call to voicemail ? My feeling is forwarding incoming calls to voicemail should remain a different task as you could wish to remain unavailable for chat and still reachable by phone. As I can't see a way to define Presence status such as "unavailable for chat and phones", "unavailable for chat but available for

Corosync init-script broken on CentOS6
Hello all, I am trying to create a corosync/pacemaker cluster using CentOS 6.0. However, I'm having a great deal of difficulty doing so. Corosync has a valid configuration file and an authkey has been generated. When I run /etc/init.d/corosync I see that only corosync is started. >From experience working with corosync/pacemaker before, I know that this is not enough to have a functioning

corosync and Asterisk 13
I have an 14.04 server with Asterisk 13.5 that will recognize it. It has corosync and corosync-dev version 2.3.3 on it. The one I can?t get to recognize it is 16.04 ubuntu, with corosync and -dev version 2.3.5. Won?t be recognized by ./configure for Asterisk 13.17, 13.16, or Asterisk Certified 13.13. I REALLY need some help figuring this out. ? Thanks! From: asterisk-users-bounces at

BLF sharing between Asterisk 11 and 13
So any phone that wants just state information needs to have an account on all the servers it needs that information from? Guess I can do that, but seems to be a lot to manage and keep in sync. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Joshua Colp Sent: Sunday, July 16, 2017 5:34 AM To:

corosync and Asterisk 13
I want to use corosync and installed it via ubuntu repository. I guess there is a version 1 and 2 of corosync. For some reason ./configure for Asterisk (13) isn't recognizing I have corosync installed. I can't enable the res_corosync module in menuselect. Any ideas? Thanks! Large Corosync/Pacemaker clusters
Hi, We''re setting up fairly large Lustre 2.1.2 filesystems, each with 18 nodes and 159 resources all in one Corosync/Pacemaker cluster as suggested by our vendor. We''re getting mixed messages on how large of a Corosync/Pacemaker cluster will work well between our vendor an others. 1. Are there Lustre Corosync/Pacemaker clusters out there of this size or larger? 2.

CentOS 6: corosync and pacemaker won't stop (patch)
Hi, I cannot 'halt' my CentOS 6 servers while running corosync+pacemaker. I believe the runlevels used to stop corosync and pacemaker are not in the correct order and create the infinite "Waiting for corosync services to unload..." loop thing. This is my first time with this cluster technology but apparently pacemaker has to be stopped /before/ corosync. Applying the following

Corosync on a home network
I've been trying to build a model cluster using three virtual machines on my home server. Each VM boots off its own dedicated partition (CentOS 7.3). One partition is designated to be the common /home partition for the VMs, (on the real machine it will mount as /cluster). I'm intending to run GFS2 on the shared partition, so I need to configure DLM and corosync. That's where I'm
