RX dropped packets on guests subnets
Hello, I have first a question (and then may be a problem), that I have difficulties to understand and eventually to investigate. On each of my guests VM, I see constantly a RX dropped number increasing , Even if the VM does nothing ! ifconfig eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.100.15 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.100.255

Browse list problem sorted

Well, the problem turned out to be permissions on the .../samba/var and .../samba/var/locks directories; not allowing the

Snapper packages for Ubuntu
Hi, I''ve created snapper packages for Ubuntu, available on https://launchpad.net/~snapper/+archive/stable. For those new to snapper, it''s a tool for managing btrfs snapshots (http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Snapper). It depends on libblocxx available from https://launchpad.net/~bjoern-esser-n/+archive/blocxx , and currently uses git source up to commit 50dec40. I''ve done

Comparing snapshots?
Hi, for a backup program I have to find all differing files (including metadata) in two snapshots taken from the same subvolume. Having looked at the find-new command I thought about this process: 1. Get the two transids when the two snapshots were created. 2. Query modifications to the original subvolume between the two transids. Is the general process corrent or have I overseen

R-beta: help ((message first bounced because of subject -- your admin.))
The help file provided within the rsept.zip is somewhat outdated compared to the one available on http://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/R/manual/; would it be possible to update the file for a more easy download instead of having either to download individually or going online ? Dear friends. This is again a very simple question, and I hope you will accept it. I have a dataset with variables in columns all with their names. Now I want to add a column indicating simply identity of patients, numbered according to row. There are 34 rows. So I did: >ID <- c(1:34) but was not allowed to >Ptt <- cbind(patients,ID) and was informed that >Error: names attribute

plot representation of calculated value known to be 7.4
Dear friends - merry Christmas and thanks a lot for much help during the year! In the example below I fail to understand how the calculated value pH is represented in a simple plot - also included. The calculations are useful in practice and likely to be right in principle but I cannot see how this occurs: why a calculated value of 7.4 known as numeric is not simply plotted as such. It

Dear friends. When using in windows version the menu function to change directory, what actions are actually performed, i.e. what commands could I write to a file to make a CD ? I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere - undoubtedly an oversigth on my part. Troels Ring, M.D Department of Nephrology Aalborg, Denmark tring at mail1.stofanet.dk

drawing a circle using symbols
Dear friends, I was drawing a circle with centrum in (1,-1) and radius 5 to show my girl that the line y=3*x+1 goes through (1,4) and (-2,-5) of the circle, but on Windows XP, R 2.20 the drawing was not good at all, and the known solutions were not shown in the graph. I guess I got it wrong? Is this use not intended ? Best wishes Troels Ring, MD Aalborg, Denmark
