file_column imagemagick strangeness
Hi,
I''m using the basic magick features of file_column,
and while files are uploading fine without the magick options, as soon as I do something like
:magick => { :size => "400x600" }
I get an ''invalid file'' error.
Further investigation reveals that the file is in fact invalid because something somewhere is truncating the file path:

mac osx charset on linux
Hey there,
After searching for quite some time I'm finally just going to ask the people
who know :)
I'm having trouble when listing the files on a samba share that's hosted on
a Mac OS X 10.4 server. The client is an Kubuntu Dapper Linux machine.
This happens only when using smbmount (smbfs) and not when I use Konqueror
with smb:// . The problem is that files with certain characters

For many moons, now, my Samba-on-Linux server (presently Samba 2.0.6) has
displayed some mildly annoying behavior (at least I think it is the Samba
server...it might be the NT workstation), to wit, whenever I login on a
Windows 95 workstation and browse over to the Samba server, it authenticates
me transparently, whereas when I login on a Window NT box and browse over to
the Samba server, I am

Trace log of unify when glusterfs freezes
Ok, I've got the trace translater running above unify at the moment. When I try to access the directory giving me trouble the following gets logged (note, I accessed one which worked first - /home/lozzar, and then mine /home/will):

[LLVMdev] Trip count and Loop Vectorizer
Hi,
I am trying to get a small loop to *not vectorize* for cases where it doesn't make sense. For instance, this loop:
void foo(int a[4][8], int n)
{
int b[4][8];
for(int i = 0; i < 4; i++) {
for(int j = 0; j < n; j++) {
a[i][j] = b[i][j];
}
}
}
* Has maximum of 8ints copy. LLVM tries to use Memcpy for the inner loop. It is not helpful to perform

Oplocks
Hello,
I'm using the Samba server 3.0.33 that exports volume from a GPFS. The GPFS
strongly dislikes unlinking files that are locked (resulting in permission
denied) using fcntl F_SETLEASE.
It seems that the Samba *sometimes* tries to unlink a file that is oplocked.
Why? Is this a bug? Why it does not happen always but only sometimes? I have
strace logs showing:

fs quota backend bug
Hi,
I maintain postfix mailserver with sudo enabled dovecot LDA using
multiple uids. I want to enforce quotas per-unix-user (which can have
multiple domains with multiple emails set up using postfixadmin), so I
have set up a FS quota backend with imap_quota plugin. Unfortunately,
the quota appears to work (when i disable chrooting) according to
dovecot-info.log, but doesn't send anything over

--copy-links and --hard-links
Hi,
I want to use rsync in a may be unusual way:
I have a source tree containing lots of symbolic links and I use
the option "--copy-links" to get the physical files (the referents of the symlinks)
on the target host.
As the host uses the synchronized files in a read-only fashion, I also want to get
hardlinks for all identical files, to save space. Thus I also use

hi, all,
I'm using MIT-krb5 and it seems it's not quite stable.
Everything seemed fine and krb5, samba daemon started as well unless I
tried to use "ad\xxx" to login a windows7 machine.
Here is part coredump log,

[LLVMdev] Trip count and Loop Vectorizer
Hi Sriram,
Thanks for performing this analysis. The problem here, both for memcpy and the vectorizer, is that we can’t predict the size of “n”, even though the only use of ’n’ is for the loop bound for the alloca [4 x [8 x i32]]. If you change the unroll condition to TC >= 0 then you will disable loop unrolling for all loops because getSmallConstantTripCount returns an unsigned number. You

[PATCH] New APIs: Implement stat calls that return nanosecond timestamps (RHBZ#1144891).
The existing APIs guestfs_stat, guestfs_lstat and guestfs_lstatlist
return a stat structure that contains atime, mtime and ctime fields
that store only the timestamp in seconds.
Modern filesystems can store timestamps down to nanosecond
granularity, and the ordinary glibc stat(2) wrapper will return these
in "hidden" stat fields:
struct timespec st_atim; /* Time of last

Announce: OpenSSH 7.5 released
OpenSSH 7.5 has just been released. It will be available from the
mirrors listed at http://www.openssh.com/ shortly.
OpenSSH is a 100% complete SSH protocol 2.0 implementation and
includes sftp client and server support. OpenSSH also includes
transitional support for the legacy SSH 1.3 and 1.5 protocols
that may be enabled at compile-time.
Once again, we would like to thank the OpenSSH community
