Idletimeout patch
While I was updating our ssh-servers, I rewrote my old patch that adds idletimeout (just like in old ssh1) parameter to openssh. Since reapplying the patch for all new versions of openssh is not fun at all, I would like to have it included in the official openssh, if you consider the patch worthy. Unlike ClientAlive, idletimeout works for both protocol versions. It also works together with

two tellabs 2572 echo board in a 253c mounting assembly?
Anyone gotten two of the 2572 echo canceller cards to work in a 253c mounting assembly? I can get one to work, but when I install two, one always fails. I've tried all my cards solo in the enclosure, on each side, and they all work properly when only 1 is installed, however, when I install two, one of them will come up, but the other always fails. Anyone know what might be causing this?

ssh client does not timeout if the network fails after ssh_connect but before ssh_exchange_identification, even with Alive options set
Hello, I am testing ssh with occasional network disconnection between server and client during these days. I found ssh sometimes hangs if the disconnection happens after the connection is established but before ssh_exchange_identification completes. The ssh configuration files show that both client and server alive options are set. In /etc/ssh/ssh_config: # Send keepalive messages to the server.

Tellabs 2572 Configuration Advice?
Can anyone share any advice / documentation on how to configure a Tellabs 2572 T1 echo canceller? I connected one between a T100P and an Adtran TA750 FXO/FXS channelbank, but when echo cancellation is active I get a LOT of snap-crackle-pop (and other problems) on the line. The 2572 has a bunch of configuration options and they're impossible to guess without documentation, which I cannot find

Re: virt-p2v migration
Looking on our firewall, it will timeout inactive connections after 15 minutes of inactivity. I'm guessing there is no keepalive in the control connections. Thanks, Cam On Wed, Feb 1, 2017 at 6:38 PM, cmc <iucounu@gmail.com> wrote: > Ok, thanks Rich, I will take a look and get back to you. > > On Wed, Feb 1, 2017 at 5:13 PM, Richard W.M. fyi: agent forwarding fails (with enabled ControlMaster) after time shift on client
Hello. Yes, i think that was the cause why agent forwarding wasn't performed at all, i had to rm(1) the control socket and the next ssh(1) connection forwarded the agent normally again. (It was a huge timeshift by several hours.) I.e., just in case this is something you didn't have on your radar yet. Ciao. --steffen

Tellabs 2572 EC Photos here.
Hello Dan, Have a look at this link: http://www.adcomcorp.com/asterisk/tellabs I got those pictures up there, may be of help. In essence, 1 pair is either a tx pair or an rx pair. If I recall, Orange and Green should be one side, and blue brown should be the other side. I tried to upload them to the wiki (even 40% size) but they didn't show up for some reason... [PATCH] random SSH_MSG_IGNORE packets
Hi! The following patch adds ability to configure the ssh client to send SSH[2]_MSG_IGNORE packets of random length at random times whithin a user-specified interval. The function is configured by setting the config-file options BogusTrafficIntervalMax and BogusTrafficIntervalMin, which defines the interval in seconds in which the packets are randomly sent. It is disabled by default. It suffices

extracting names from matrix according to a condition
Dear Community, I have a matrix with assigned colnames and rolnames as follows: A B NR 0.15 0,05 AL 0,05 0,05 . . . . . . . . . I want to extract the names of the rows for which A>0,1 and B<0,1. In the above example this would be observation NR only. Hence the output should write for

Cannot make Windows join Samba domain
Hi, I'm having an issue trying to make a Windows machine sambaserveroin a Samba domain. Samba is running with LDAP backend (OpenLDAP). When I try to join the domain, Windows says that the machine account does not exist. The machine account, however, is successfully created in the LDAP directory after the join fails. When I try to join again, Windows says that the account already exists.

Different Estimated values between R and Excel
Hi, I used simple linear regression with the R software and EXCEL on the same data. Although , I find the same R2=0.84, I find different estimated values (intercept and slope). For the R software (slope =0.0009, Intercept = -0.1478), for EXCEL (slope =927.7, Intercept = 154,41). When I use the estimated values from the R software, the results seem bad, however the results of Exel seem correct.
