[Bug 1602] ssh: doesn't handle IPv6 addresses with brackets
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1602 --- Comment #6 from Marc Herbert <marc.herbert+mindrot at gmail.com> --- Just did some more testing with OpenSSH_8.1p1 Apr 2020. It looks like someone did the work to implement a new ssh://[brackets] syntax except in the case where brackets are actually needed. Baffling. So these now work: ssh ssh://[host.local]:23 ssh

How to remove square brackets, etc. from address strings?
Hello, I'd like to remove the individual pairs of square brackets along with their content - plus the space directly behind it - from address strings such as this: [Swidsinski, Alexander; Loening-Baucke, Vera; Lochs, Herbert] Charite Humboldt Univ, Innere Klin, D-10098 Berlin, Germany; [Hale, Laura P.] Duke Univ, Med Ctr, Dept Pathol, Durham, NC 27710 USA I'd like get the

nested factors different with/out brackets - is this a design feature?
Dear R Helpers, I came across discrepancies in estimates for nested factors in linear models computed with brackets and also when a crossing factor is defined as a factor or as a dummy (0/1) vector. These are probably designed features that I do not understand. I wonder if someone would be so kind as to explain them to me. First, if I do not bracket the nested pair of factors A/C, then (1) I

Controlling Outbound traffic...alternative to dsl_qos_queue
Hi , this probably was asked many times before , but here it goes.. Until now i was using dsl_qos_queue - http://www.sonicspike.net/software/ Which limits outbound traffic and does packet priorites with iptables using MARKed packets.. works very well , I run a ftpserver + webserver so it''s usefull to set these 2 with lowest priority and my multiplayer gaming running on certain UDP ports

Speeding up simulation of mean nearest neighbor distances
I've written the function below to simulate the mean 1st through nth nearest neighbor distances for a random spatial pattern using the functions nndist() and runifpoint() from spatsat. It works, but runs relatively slowly - would appreciate suggestions on how to speed up this function. Thanks. --Dale library(spatstat) sim.nth.mdist <- function(nth, nsim) { D <- matrix(ncol=nth,

problem with nth patch, counter parameter...I think
Hi all, I need some guidance to get my problem fixed. I believe there is an issue with the ''nth'' patch from the patch-o-matic, which is labeled as status ''works''. I have tunnels back and forth across the internet, using ''nth'' to balance packets between different public networks (over the tunnels). I need to access some networks over two
