Xorg hangs in kernelspace with qxl
Hello!
I'm experiencing the following task hangs at least 2-3 times a day when
using a Kubuntu desktop in KVM via a SPICE client. This has occurred
with the stock kernels in Kubuntu since Kubuntu 18.04. This makes the VM
unusable as a graphical remote desktop and the hung task prevents
Kubuntu from gracefully rebooting (e.g. "reboot" via SSH). Any ideas?

Connection hang, can't stop SSH
Using OpenSSH_8.3p1 I had an open (working) connection to some other
box; after a bit of inactivity, some device in the middle seems to have
forgotten about the TCP connection (NAT) and broke it.
I've got an EscapeChar defined, though; so first I tried to send a BREAK
and, when that didn't help (TCP already gone, packets get lost!), I
tried (just out of curiosity) a Rekey.
Now I can see

Xorg indefinitely hangs in kernelspace
Hello!
I'm writing to report a crash in the QXL / DRM code in the Linux kernel.
I originally filed the issue on LaunchPad and more details can be found
there, although I doubt whether these details are useful.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1813620
I first experienced these issues with:
* Ubuntu 18.04 (probably kernel 4.15.something)
* Ubuntu 18.10 (kernel

Add missing -o options in ssh(1) manual
A few options appear to be missing from the list in ssh's manual.
The one I didn't add is EnableSSHKeysign, whose description implies
it is only effective when placed in the system-wide config file.

use of -D at EscapeChar command line
Greetings,
Here's a small patch to allow adding dynamic port forwards during a
session using the ~C command line. Local and remote port forwards are
already supported in a similar manner, but we thought this would be useful
as well -- hope it finds its way to the official distribution.
Best,
Cody Raspen

Sweavelistingutil: Encoding problems
Hello,
I am not sure whether this is a bug or lack of R experience.
However, I am using your Sweavelistingutil package, which is very
nice. Obviously I use it to create LaTeX files. These are encoded in
utf8.
However, when I use the Sweavelistingutil is uses some funky
character for "`" and "'" that is not recognized.
Here is an example from my tex-file:

[PATCH] fix mac_computer
The mac_compute() function in openssh calls umac_final() to prepend a tag
to a buffer. Umac_final() calls pdf_gen_xor() on the tag as its final
operation, and as implemented, pdf_gen_xor() assumes an appropriate
alignment for 64-bit operations on its buffer. However, the buffer
is declared in mac_compute() as a static u_char array, and the linker
doesn't guarantee 64-bit alignment for such
